The good news is the nurses say they've never seen a new mom produce so much colostrum so fast. The not so good news is that there seems to be no force on earth able to convert my innie nipples to outies

Hoping to meet with an LC tomorrow, until then we're pumping and spoonfeeding DD to get her started. Any advice on dealing with stubborn nipples? 15 minutes of pumping and they barely come out, only to disappear before I can hope to get a latch.

~All AL'ers welcome~
Nipple shields are working like a charm, but since I can't get them to stay out for any period of time, I'll probably be using them for the duration of the breastfeeding. I'm grateful I have a working solution, thanks guys!
