I got this one from Nordstrom. It comes in a bunch of different color combinations, but since mint is a color we're using throughout, I stuck with it! It came with everything too so I was happy.
I registered for the Skip Hop Forma & hope I end up liking it as much as I liked it in the store.
I came across all the skip hop bags online and would love to register for one but haven't actually seen any in person. When you looked at this in stores, did it seem like it would bd durable enough to last quite a while?
@Weezy2012: My Skip Hop just arrived. I LOVE IT! It looks very well made, and seems durable. The stitching looks really good, the seams seem thick and well-made, the hardware looks to be a good heavy quality, and the zippers look tough- like they could handle being zipped 4,000 times, and move easy.
It looks great in person, has 11 pockets (three with zippers, one with a magnet) not including the main compartment, or outside bottle pockets. The changing pad is cushy and the stroller attachments as PERMANENTLY attached. (I didn't know that, and I am excellent at misplacing things.) Anyways, I highly recommend it for now. I will be very curious if I will feel the same in August of 2015- the test of time is the big one.
Very happy I went with this one. (The Studio). I'd seriously consider registering for it.
I registered for the grand central in red (I think drove DH crazy by debating the color for over an hour) but oh man, now you have me reconsidering!!! Sounds like it is hard to go wrong with the skip hop bags though. And I am also thinking I need to be hanging out at Ross/TJ maxx more often to look at bags.
I used a small black gym bag for DS that I already had, but just bought my first "real" diaper bag this weekend. It's a timi & leslie, looks like a regular purse but is pretty large and has plenty of pockets and clips inside, and although it's in a print that I wouldn't have paid retail for (kind of reminds me of a great aunts couch or something) seems durable with metal feet and leather handles, and came with a wet bag and changing pad. I found it on our local resale page in pretty much new condition for $20. Can't beat that right? Sorry, no pic, I'm still too lazy to figure out how to do that...
Re: AW your diaper bag !
