@LiteraChick I'm slow at computer shit - how do I put the badge in my sig? I know how to edit my sig, but the editing buttons on there don't show up to add a photo ...

This is my first post ever! Had to join a tall girl convo!
20 weeks today and cannot sleep, thus, on my phone! The shirt in the pic is a recent Target find. Not maternity, but a really long tee I wear over leggings. On sale this week for $10!
About NB vs bigger baby clothes...DS was 9 lb 4 oz, 22 in so we basically went right into 3 month. BUT, DH is 6'8 and I'm 6'1. Now my son is 4'1 at 4 years old! I can only imagine how tall this baby girl will get!
So I refuse to spend real money on some maternity jeans that'll I'll only wear for a few months. I received a pair of hand-me-down jeans that are too short, but I can wear with tall boots (although they're not skinny jeans so they get a lil Bunche and dorky looking ... Well at Burlington a Coat Factory in the maternity section I found these for $16.99 ... They are just mediums, not long, but work, I think ....
Pic is not great due to lighting and the mirror was dusty (eek!), but pretty good, yeah?
I've been looking but haven't found anything that works well. I think I'm going to go for a regular bikini with a maternity tank over it. I virtually never wear a swimsuit, but I'm going to Hawaii in a few weeks so I'm going to have to suck it up! ;-)
I am 5'11" and plus size. My pants were from motherhood and are too short but it's my only hope. I still wear normal shirts. I found that the American Rag brand sold at Macys is cute being pregnant because it's babydoll style and they were long enough to cover my belly. I'm ready for better weather so I can just wear capris and not worry about my short pants.
I've been meaning to go back to H&M because I have this one camisole/tank that I absolutely love that I actually wore with DS to the hospital to deliver (it grew with me and didn't stretch out. I haven't found a better one, and I stocked up on 4 different colors to wear as layers to lengthen some of my too short tops and hide the maternity band in my pants. So in case it hasn't been mentioned, and even if it has, I just wanted to say how much I love them, their length, their quality, and the fact that they are 2 for $10 right now.
ETA: Because apparently I am "stoked" to "stock" up on layering tanks.

Link me darling
Yes, that. I was in H&M over the weekend and everything maternity seemed much more expensive than I remember their normal clothes even being... and their tanks looked longer for sure, but also larger...??
@alyssa719 -- i noticed they had two different types, one has sizing based on s-m-l-xl the other was 4-6-8-10 etc. The s-m-l ones looked bigger to me as well so I had to get a size down. but the number sizes still fit normally. And I did not like their maternity stuff, so not worth the price, especially compared to their regular clothing prices.
What 5 foot 8 not good enough with a 36 inch inseam?
Not to be a jerk or anything, but wouldn't that make your torso (top of shoulders to crotch) be less than two feet??
My math: 5'8" = 68 inches. 68-36 (crotch to heel) = 32 inches. 32-12 (I think average head would be about 9-10 inches, plus neck should be a couple) = 20 inches.
I second the old navy maxis! And as far as boobage is concerned as @LiteraChick said they are awesome for the bustier ones. I'm a DDD and the girls don't look ginormous and have nice coverage in fact I have a HDBD post wearing a sleeveless one and my boobs probably look the best in that pic compared to all my other HDBD pics.
@LiteraChick & @Bpargood - Did you guys get your normal Old Navy size? I seem to be not fitting into the medium maternity size for their shirts now and am in a large. Think I should go with the large talls for the maxi dresses?

@bewilderingstar I wear small/mediums normally at ON but maternity shirts started fitting small as my bump increased. I bought my regular size for the dresses. Tried on the large last week in store and they fit big for the strapless dresses but the large works well for me for their sleeveless ones. Honestly you'd probably get away with either. So Thanks for asking
Thanks gals! Bri wanted a couple of tee's and tanks so we'll be buying up some clothes tonight online with that 25% off code (thanks Litera!). I'll brave it and grab a tall large and see how it goes. I'll let ya'll know too

In love with this thread! I always stop by to see the latest tips from my fellow tall July mommas! Especially appreciate the tall baby info link. I didn't think about some of those long baby problems. (And with me being 6' and DH being 6'4"...this is likely to be a long baby).
Personally, I am beyond thrilled to finally be having warmer weather to break out the dresses and skirts.
We're getting so close! July is right around the corner!
I should have mentioned my sleeveless maxi one IS a maternity maxi and that one I bought my regular size (m). And an FYI the maternity are not as long as I would really want for my 6 foot self (definitely not as long as the tall maxis you can get online) but they are decent.
I grabbed a black maxi from ON a week ago, just got it in the mail today. I was going to wear it for date night this Friday and for my girl friend's shower in a few weeks... I just can't bring myself to wear it to mine. I need more color

I'm in kind of the same position, @bewilderingstar... we're going to a wedding on 25 May, and I have no idea what to wear (and honestly, am not looking forward to hunting something). My baby shower got moved from 17 May to 22 June (I'll be almost 36w) and am terrified of what I'll be wearing then and also not even pretending to look yet.

H&M Long Tanks
Difference is I bought them in the store, online has some on sale for $3 as well but looks like they are selling out.
