  Do they build up?
  
  Does changing position or chugging water stop them?
  
  Also, 11 days early isnt that early.

  They didn't start out too bad this afternoon, but now they are super painful.  I have been trying to chug water and that doesn't seem to help.  Walking around helps a little.  I may have to go in.

  I just read that if they are gradually getting stronger, that's what makes them real labor contractions. I have been having crazy BH all day and night and had the same concern as you, but they're not painful and are not getting stronger.

  Good luck! I also agree that it sounds like this might be it! Don't worry about being a little early. You are definitely close enough to your due date that everything should be just fine. Keep us posted!

  Have been in L & D since about 2:30! This is it! Said that they were glad I ended up coming in. Went from 1 cm on Wed with not one contraction to full blown contractions and dilated to 5! Got my epi about an hour ago and feel sweet relief!! Then right after that my water broke! Wish me luck ladies!!

  Glad you went in. Just read you said water and such didnt help and that they were getting more painful. Um, yeah...sounds like labor to me. GL!

  With my first DS my contractions felt just like that- also 7 minutes apart. Never got any closer but got more painful. When I arrived at the hospital I was already at a 7-8 and it was definitely the 'real deal'. Good luck!!
