The doctors said he can have a 3 week grace period to heal from surgery then they are pursuing more testing. The nutritionist is considering putting him on a 30 cal diet but she said it's really rough on babies. We should decide on Monday.
Wow, 30 calories? Ava was fortified up to 24 in the NICU, but 26 was the highest option that the nurse even mentioned. I hope he doesn't have to do it; I would imagine it would really be hard on his little tummy. Hopefully he gets it together during the next few weeks. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!

Yes the max keeps bumping up for us. He has been on 26 for a couple weeks before this last hospital stay then they took him to 27 while in the hospital. I asked on one of my heart groups about the 30 cal and everyone said it was too rough on their baby's stomach. So hopefully we don't go there!
