Completely exhausted.....

I just can't shake it, I have been blessed to do most work from home these days, however I take about 2 naps a day. I am also up constantly at night to pee, and at 38+ wks I am just awaiting any signs of labor... I have had menstral like cramps for about 2 wks now, and just the last 24hrs have what you ladies refer to as lightening crotch (ouch) I get tightening in my stomach, which I understand is all getting my body/baby ready for the big day.

Anyone else exhausted? Is this normal??

I have been feeling this amazing for weeks! I think these symptoms have been bitched about to death. There are a great many posts about these symptoms if you take a look through a few pages. This might help calm your nerves about normal vs abnormal.

Has anyone else noticed a swelling in their stomach area? my belly has gotten really big and round over the last nine months.

Sounds like you may have a parasite that is leeching off your body. Parasites of this kind implant themselves in the hosts body and get all their nutrients from the host whether the host has enough or not. These parasites will get larger and larger until them will eventually exit themselves from your body in a very painful manor. Because you are feeding this parasite you will feel a very wide range of symptoms which can include extreme fatigue, bloating, nausea, heartburn.... the list goes on. I've seen this kind of parasite many times in my years in the emergency services field... we call it a baby. Try looking at a few websites devoted to pregnant women and lookup the usual symptoms for the time frame you are in. If that doesn't help you a talk with a Dr is usually a preferred method.

Wow!! There it is again, all the positive energy seeps out in you people. My god, it was only a discussion- which clearly I cannot post or say a damn thing here without being ridiculed. I have no idea what other women feel, I have seen other posts about many things.

No shit I am pregnant, the last 8 months I have had a lot of energy, it is the recent month I feel tired, have had cramping etc.

Done with this whole thing! Bitterness is so unattractive.

Not that it's a competition but I have a 16 month old and my husband is OOT 5-6 days a week, often coming home long enough to wash laundry and leave again for another week. Totally feel your pain! The last couple of weeks he's had short weeks which means only gone for 5 days/nights but now he's headed back to being 10+ hours away again.

Oh no competition here! I knew you were in the same boat. My DH left on Monday and won't be back until Wednesday night and I'm beind induced Friday morning. Cue freak out! I knew it would be hard, but I totally underestimated it.

Yeah I underestimated it too. DH will get home sometime on the night before my RCS provided I don't go on my own beforehand. I'm really nervous about him being so far away and possibly ending up doing this 100% on my own. Even though my mom is determined she will be there if he isn't. We'll see.

True story: a few years ago my MIL had pancreatitis and spent a couple of weeks in the hospital. Shortly after she came home FIL fell victim to the man cold. She was still recovering and told him to suck it up. He had the nerve to tell her she just didn't understand because she's never been that sick. I think she would have beat the shit out of him if she could have.

I ask simple questions whether anyone feels they are stupid or not- your perception of my life is irrelevant. But it's clear that you all get a kick out of whatever it is you do. I never said I wouldn't post, or not add my views, been a member since I was on theknot, just do not go on this all the time, or get fueled up by someone else's post. Douche-bag, stupid, saying fuck you to me, it's all out of bad taste- woman should empower each other, not degrade one another. In all honesty, being a member requires active participation. You cant claim to have been a member if you dont show support or actually post. Its interesting to see how many people come out at the end of their pregnancy wanting everyone to give them support and lovetit pictures of their babies, when we have spent the last nine months supporting eachother through some of the most difficult and trying times (including losses).

Perception is reality. The reality is those of us who have worked at giving support to the other ladies on the board, are seriously questioning who you are after your comments yesterday.
