My really unpopular sleep opinion. I totally don't get complaining about lack of sleep when you co-sleep. It sounds like a no brainer that if I was sleeping next to my best friend and favorite snack machine id wake often too. I don't judge bc in some ways I'm jealous. I'd love to nap with my little guy but he would never nap with me. I can't wait til he's old enough to sleep in a big boy bed and we can get some day time cuddles.
You realize that since the US has gotten more enlightened about "healthy foods" and organic this and that, people, are more obese and reliant on medications, right!
The more enlightened I became about healthy foods and whatnot, the thinner and less dependent I actually became on medications. Actually, for the first time in my adult life I've been able to go completely off of my medications. Eight months and going strong, all because of organic/healthy eating.
But there is a difference between truly healthy whole foods and what America as a whole thinks is healthy. The American food pyramid itself is a recipe for obesity and disease. So, I guess that's why the majority of our nation is obese and sick.
With all of that said, my kids do drink the occasional juice. But it's actual real juice, either freshly made or the organic RW Knudsen brand, watered down. It's not a daily thing, but I see nothing wrong with keeping it in the house to have as a treat or to use to make things like homemade popsicles or gelatin. We also don't drink milk, because I think it's terrible unhealthy unless it's raw. I'd rather my kids drink juice than pasteurized and homogenized milk.
