Thursday Spam Thread

For the last 2 weeks I've been feeling sick after I eat. After almost vomiting, an icky metallic taste and feeling twitches in my stomach, I've taken 2 pregnancy tests this week to prevent my own episode of "I didn't know I was pregnant" Thank heavens they were both negative. I will be drinking lots of wine tonight and calling my OB in the morning for the mini pill. Too stressful thinking I might be pregnant.

My mom is coming out to visit a few days after my husband leaves for 3 weeks. I'm SO excited and just had to share. I also bought a new bra today because I went up a cup size; its temporary because of nursing, but when you're walking around the mall in various children's stores with your nipple very obviously protruding from your bra, its time.

I feel better about it knowing it's not too unusual! She's a chubby baby too so I figured it might have something to do with it. I also noticed a few others in this thread with the same issue going on. Ladies, there is hope!! BTW, I love Mellow Mushroom too! Magical Mystery Tour is my favorite!!

I hope they find that it is nothing. I'm glad his pedi is being cautious, though. I'll keep y'all in my prayers!

@missyc979 My 2 year old has that dimple hole above his butt. Our pedis were never concerned. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Thinking of you, I'm sure all is fine concerning that

Thanks. I'm pretty confident it's nothing, but just having that chance freaks me out a bit. I'm okay with getting it checked out now. I guess if we miss the window for the ultrasound, we would have to do an MRI if he ever has problems when he gets older and this will be a lot easier to rule out any problems. I've done quite a bit of research and it looks like he doesn't have any of the symptoms that are often with a dimple if there is a spinal problem. I'm still nervous, but trying to stay even about it. It's just been a tough week though and I'm really drained.

Has anyone else been watching the I heart music awards??? I've had it on in the background, but the only part I zoned in on was Luke effin Bryan. God damn, how is he so hot?! DH always gets jealous when I'm watching something about him, cuz he gets me all hot and bothered. I haven't felt so strongly about the sexiness of a singer since I first laid eyes on Justin Timberlake when I was 10.

We tried LO on the nuby sippy cup today and she didn't scream bloody murder. She didn't consume much but it feels like a win.

So DH just reamed me out and honestly I can't blame him. Today a guy knocked on the door and asked if we had any scrap metal we were looking to get rid of (he had seen a broken wheelbarrow at the edge of our woods). I texted DH because we had just been talking about having a dump run done. DH replied no repeatedly and I didn't get why. So I said that he said no and the guy got pretty twisted. It was then that I took a good look at him and realized he was tweaking pretty badly. I told him to take it just to get rid of him. He had another guy with him who seemed ok and was teally polite. He gave me their name and number after I mentioned we were going to need a dump run (that was before I noticed the other guy).

I'm so mad at myself that I didn't notice sooner and that I opened the door. Now I'm worried they are going to come back either to see if we need the dump run or to rob our garage (he made a couple comments about wanting old car parts since DH has a car he's rebuilding in the driveway). Ugh!

That's awesome! I switched to my manual too bc I was getting so much so quickly. But all of a sudden it stopped working so good. Changed the filter, hoping that's the magic trick.
