    Obviously, this guy's a fucking asswipe, but I'm also really bothered by the Harry Potter joke/reference the author made because it doesn't make sense.

    I don't even want to read that. When I lived in Tallahassee a biracial friend of mine went to FSU instead of FAMU and she said a lot of people made fun of her and thought she wasn't black enough for FAM. Why does it matter? Can't we just say good for you for going to college?

    And your siggy pic is adorable! Is she biracial? I'm just curious because you've mentioned your H and your family not agreeing about stuff (but I can't remember what now)

    Nope. I went to community college, became totally disenchanted with school, got pregnant, dropped out, never graduated and now work a job I hate for crappy pay. THANKS DAD!

    ooo, the bolded pisses me off so bad. Black people are the only ones that say that. 

    No, she isn't biracial, although people think I am (actually don't know my dad so who knows). Likely Creole. People think my husband is Hispanic but he looks different than his brother and sister. They have the same parents or so he says. Lol. 
    I hate it too. I worry about LO once he goes to school because he looks just like his dad except for coloring. His mom is actually Creole and his dad is black and Indian. Your DD looks like a lot of his cousin's kids who are all mixed up.

    @motherofpearl85 while we're talking about your cutie, how do you keep her curls so nice? Does it just happen on it's own? E has gorgeous curls, but it takes 3 different products and an act of god to keep them from frizzing.

    @peanutbutterfox,  :( , Well, I went to a private college and then got a Master's degree which means a lot of debt and still ended up in a job I hate for crappy pay. #painolympics. Grass is greener. 

    Now, I must go tutor a little black boy in Math so that hopefully one day he will go to a great college (maybe an HBCU) and became a doctor or something great. 
    I have student loans I still haven't paid off. At least you have something to show for yours. #painolmypics #goldmedalist :))

    Lol! I got you. Yeah, I'm from Louisiana so I am definitely not surprised if I happened to be of Creole descent (sp?) or something like that. My DH has really curly hair too but he keeps it cut low.
    SO has AMAZING curls. He kept his hair short until the last few months and I LOVE it long. He wants to dread it and I'm like nooooo. 

    Where are you at in LA? Or were, if you're not there anymore. SO's family is from Lafayette.
