    My previous BMB lasted until around 6 months of age. It did take a hit when the 3rd facebook group was started. There are still about 10 regulars left still at going on 18 months. I think it really depends on the people.

    And like @lisaren said, on my previous BMB, my best friends had nothing to do with due dates. Once you get past 1st tri it just doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter once the baby is born. 
    i'm due the 7th and had no idea i was part of the same clique! i guess we're the cool kids.

    @kakicloud that's kind of what I was afraid of, this being my first time on the Bump and all. Hoping some end-of-monthers stick around and keep posting until the end of November! So far, though, I'm loving this board.

    @Kristy774 Yes, I totally get that due dates are an estimate! I've been wondering if I should be posting in December '14 as well since I'm due 11/29, but I feel more at home here. If I go late, I could easily be one of the last of the November mamas to go...

    You could always go early too! BTW I'm jealous of your due date. Both my boys were born on the 29th and I'm guessing it's not going to happen a 3rd time :( I need to go on October 29th to make the trend stay alive! Lol doubt it's going to happen!

    @Kristy774 Thanks! The birthdays in both mine and DH's families are all clustered in the spring, so a November/December baby is something very new to us. I LOVE the idea of a turkey baby.

    Shared birthdays are neat - my grandmother had my aunt and uncle on her birthday, but several years apart. Triple birthday!

    Seriously, give it up. Your statement(s) aren't true. I'm due 11/28 and I post and love-it on this thread all the fucking time. @PandaCon‌ explained what was going on with this thread. Put your big girl panties on and deal. Also, you only found this thread, which was originally posted on APRIL 6---a month ago, because after a week goes by, some random newbie finds it and posts on it again. As a matter of fact, I think I'm the only nov-ender who still posts on it and for the record I'm NOT besties with anybody who has also claimed to be a nov-ender, MOST LIKELY BECAUSE THEY DONT COME BACK AND POST ON THIS THREAD.

    I had the same situation as you with my second; I was due April 29, and she wasn't born until May 10. I was only a lurker on the April 2011 board (as in, I never once posted but I read it pretty much every day), but I never spent any time on the May board. The board seriously slowed down after the majority of the women had given birth, and there wasn't anyone still talking about pregnancy by the time my daughter was born. So just my 2 cents, since you're a first time mom (I think?), chances are much higher that you'll go late than early, so I'd probably spend some time on the December board if you want people in the same situation as you at the very end of your pregnancy.
