UPDATE: So thanks to all the advice from you ladies I was all fired up headed to my midwife appt. Monday ready to tell her to shut it unless there was a health concern for myself or my baby... And lo and behold, she told me that since the gain was steady still and everything looks excellent for myself and the baby we wouldn't be talking weight:) What followed was the best appt. I've had including some neat tricks to move the baby! Here's hoping the rest of you who said you were getting the same treatment got better results at your next appt!
My doctor hadn't said anything to me about it during any appointment, so I figured I was fine. I did ask at my last appointment (at 32w1d) just because I was curious (and my mother keeps asking me) and was told that I've gained 30 lbs. Seems average to me based on what I've read, so I'm not too worried about it. I usually cook a healthy dinner every night, but I haven't really been able to keep that up the past few months...So I do feel like I've been eating less healthy than usual because we've been eating out/ordering in a lot.
First pregnancy start weight 140 ending weight 225 baby weighed 7 lb 11 oz
Second pregnancy start weight 190 ending weight 220 baby weighed 8 lbs 12 oz
Third pregnancy start weight 144 weight at 35 weeks 208 baby weighs 7 lb 4oz as of last US
So all in all, sometimes your up, sometimes your down and all that's important is that YOU and LO are healthy. One of the nurses taking my weight brought it up once, asked if I was aware of the weight gain, I said yes, and it was never brought up again. My dr has not mentioned it at all!!
Glad your last appt you brought it up and your appt went great. I'm sure it will not be brought up again. Good luck! 1 more month to go!
For the STMs... Were you able to lose the weight and how long did that take you? I am not so concerned about how much weight I am gaining... But more about will I be able to lose it later...

Gained fifty or sixty with my first. In the first few weeks after birth I lost 20-30 pounds just by having a baby. I started exercising when baby was 4 months and lost 20 pounds in one month. I was breastfeeding, dieting (as in eating super healthy, not starving myself), and exercising all at once which worked wonders for weight loss. If you are breastfeeding your body will hold on to that last ten pounds or so. You need to have enough fat on your body to produce the milk or something to that effect so I wouldn't plan on looking like a supermodel until you're at least done breastfeeding. I was back at 130-140 range (pre pregnancy weight was 120) until my daughter was about a year old and done breastfeeding at which point I got back down to 125 with continued diet and exercise. Despite the weight loss though, it took almost a year and a half to "get my body back" as in my hips shrunk back down a little and my old clothes fit again. Every body is different though so don't bank on my story. I believe that with proper diet and exercise it is always possible to lose that weight. My goal this pregnancy is to be at 130 by the end of August, I am currently 190. We'll just see how this goes...
I gained 45 pounds with ds. Within the first four weeks I lost about 25 of those, and once I stopped Breastfeeding I lost another 15 then slowly lost another 5. My prepregnancy weight was pretty low and only achieved through strict diet and exercise, which I had not gotten back to after having the baby.
This time weight gain is similar and hopefully losing the weight will not be too difficult. I supposed chasing around a toddler and looking after a newborn will keep me active
