Aw, thanks @Ashes92813! Being able to wear them one last time was pretty much the only silver lining to the fact that it is cold, rainy, and miserable here this morning.
sempre_staccato is that the Jenny Lind crib? Love the colour! I got it in yellow. I had to get my parents to smuggle it across the border after I ordered it to friends in the US since it's not approved in Canada.

@lizardbreath14@Mrs.C.V. Not exactly. It's a Storkcraft Jenny Lind that I bought second hand and painted. @Mrs.C.V, I had the exact same problem with not easily being able to get the DaVinci version here in Canada.
ETA to respond to Mrs.C.V. too!

Great paint job! It looks adorable! I don't know the first thing about painting furniture, but we bought this old antique wardrobe for the nursery. It's been whitewashed, but not painted well. I want to paint it to have a nice finish like your crib -- maybe even that same color. What sort of paint did you use? Did you have to sand first? (I keep looking for ways to avoid that part. LOL.)
It's not hard! Very time consuming though. I wrote a blog post how-to-ish here:
In short, sand to rough everything up (but it doesn't have to be perfect!), paint, 2-3 coats (I used Behr low VOC paint - but technically, there is no paint sold on the market today that isn't safe for kids), then 3 coats of a water-based polyurethane (water-based is important - oil-based tends to be toxic).
