Started using cloth diapers today... And LO has only napped in 45 min chunks. Usually he conks out for 2+ hours. I hope it's not bc of the diapers .......
@DisneyAddict1 good luck with potty training! I hope your LO catches on quickly. Cleaning out poop-filled underwear is worse than man poops in a diaper IMO. Especially when you know they know how to use the potty but they choose not to (my DS1 right now).
My friend who came to nz with me and met my family, etc (was a pretty good friend) really likes to copy me. It's annoying, but as everyone says, it's a form of flattery. Was just bitching to mum last night how her maternity photos were exactly the same as mine, but no big deal, lots of peoples are similar. Still, kinda annoying with EVERYTHING that she copies.
We tried Jackson in his exersaucer for the first time today. It was a big fail lol he kept falling forward and we'd laugh at him
#parentsoftheyear
Haha I remember when DS1 was physically ready for that thing (he was sitting up, head control etc) but he was still too tiny for the actual seat. His feet couldn't reach the floor! So we "fixed it" by shoving receiving blankets around him and then putting a couple comforters under him so his feet weren't just dangling.
@DisneyAddict1 this is totally how he is. He has great had control and all, just can't reach with his feet and falls forward too much. We may try that trick.
@bunnyfungo can you remind me how much you pump at work? I want to feel normal and like I'm doing a good job since this is my first full day
@FarmBoysWife I know you weren't asking me, but this weekend I pumped about 16oz in 12 hours. I think in 8 hours I pump about 10-12. How long a shift do you work?
So.

So anyway. She had her baby last night.
Guess what his name is.
Yep.

That's insane... clearly crossed the line. There's no way she didn't blatently copy. Creeeeeeeeeepy.
@laura8388 I am feelin like second-hand anger right now. How do you do that? I wonder if it was a girl if she would have named her Laura. But for real (and maybe I'm immature for this) but I would be like, angry and creeped out. Does her baby daddy look like Jodi?
A mutual friend commented "oh wow I'd never heard the name before, but now Laura AND you have named your baby that". So hopefully she sees it's really strange.
I don't even know what to comment!! I already congratulated her by text before she said the name.:
I'd put something like "great name! Wonder where you heard that?", but I'm a passive agressive bitch like that.
Hahahaha. I would have said something similar, but I'm also a passive aggressive bitch.
So that didn't quite go as planned. My boss didn't come to work today, the president left early, which left me with hr to talk to. They presented me with the option to work from home, even just five hours a week, and I could start in tomorrow or in three months. They just want me back in some form. I need to schedule a meeting after I decided on what to do.
Today Matthew and I went to my office to have lunch and visit. It was so great to be there. I kinda can't wait to go back (but I'm not hurrying it). I miss my job and all my peeps.
I know your name sounds nothing like this, but every time I see you post @rockopera, it makes me think of the family guy skit when Peter sings "Iraq lobster" and the lobster with the turban and beard is dancing around in his living room.
@pepperedmoth I will definitely be trying to make my own once I go back to work and we have more than one income again. I tried it once when I was like 12, hated it, and then waited 8 years to try it again. XD So much better the second time around. Especially since I love spicy, and he got "Supremely Spicy" flavor.

@mrsdahamm & @bunnyfungo Ok, your numbers are a lot like mine. I work 10 hr days. I over pumped while nursing to try and boost things. I'm also pumping at 11:40 (waking) and right before I leave to keep my stash "up"
I haven't followed this thread, but decided to come check it out after someone wanted to kill it. I am sad I have missed out and now must devote time to catching up on what I have missed out on!

I hate to say it, but my MIL is so spastic and such a space cadet that I just cannot be sure that I trust her to watch Mia by herself. The woman has had issues for years, after she cheated on FIL with FIL's BIL, which include drinking herself into the hospital, issues with memory and just general ditziness. She's a mess, really. I love her to death, but her inability to keep a job for more than three days since I met her and the fact that I have to say her name 1000x's to get her attention on a good day does not make me want to leave my only child with her.
Of course, H thinks I'm picking on his mom every time I bring up my distrust of her ability to watch her safely without making decisions based on 20+ year old information. I know she raised two perfectly amaIng young men. I married one of them. But this woman has slowly turned into a BSC lady who drives me nuts with 10,000 questions and texts every time we communicate.
And yet, I voluntarily offered to let her and FIL watch her on Sunday so H and I can go out to lunch. I will probably freak out on Sunday, but for now I will just trust that FIL will decide to put up with her for a couple hours to put my mind at ease. Worst case scenario, I'll ask DH to get his brother or someone to go hang out with her while we eat. I'm freaking out a little right now, but not nearly as bad as I thought I would initially...
I also just realized I said I was 33...yeah I'm still 32 until June. I need a nap, but I have been sucked in here!

I had to skip over a few posts just now because I had to get this in.. @Laura8388 I would cut a bitch for that! (I wouldn't really because I'm not a violent person but fo' reals yo wtf)
@DisneyAddict1 I tried that when he got all defensive. And I totally understand why he would be, I mean, it's his mom! We'll see how Sunday goes. Either she'll do fine, and she'll get to babysit more, or she'll do horribly, and will not be alone when she babysits ever again.
I may be insane. But I own up to it. Therefore: no shame.
Aww @FarmBoysWife hope it gets easier. Although if you ask me i'd say quit
I'm the breadwinner and carry insurance, if such was not the case my notice would be in tomorrow!
He's screamed himself to sleep, won't nurse, and James of course wants my attention and my mom and Karen wouldn't stay so I've got two pissed off kids tonight
This is our issue. DH is actually the breadwinner, but we really need 2 salaries. But we can only get insurance from my job, so I HAVE to work. I don't wanna!!!
The witching hour finally ended! It was from 4:30 until 5 minutes ago! He fell asleep a little early but that's ok. My nipps are chapped! Time for a drink
I was afraid that I would have the desire to stay home once LO got here. And that's impossible because I'm the breadwinner by a long shot. I don't like the idea of daycare, but I haven't really considered staying home. We'll see how hard it is in a few weeks.
If anything, we are working to H going part time or staying home.

Someone should totes volunteer to send me hummus. DH got me to try it the other day for the first time in ages, and now I want more.
Me: 28 DH: 27

Did she spell it the same way? I would totally tell her it's straight up weird.
