Sweetie this is a forum for moms with maturity. Not moms who have none. If you cant take me saying the argument was pointless then I dont know what to tell ya.
Not so much annoyed as dumbfounded. You are truly contridicting yourselves whether you mean to or not. It is agreed that a virus can spread. LET IT GO!
WTF who are you the post police? Did a newbie really just waltz in here and tell us to let it go? This should end well.
Im the person who didn't just make myself look like an ass.

I would not go. It's SOOO contagious, it completely sucks if your whole family gets it, and there is little you can do to truly sterilize everything. Only Lysol spray or bleach even works on norovirus and it can last weeks on surfaces. I hate stomach bugs. I always seem to catch them if anyone around me is sick.
I don't know about you ladies, but just reading this thread is making me queasy.....licking swings? Sharting?? :-&
If I were throwing a party, and my whole family got a stomach bug, I'd probably be the one most likely to call it off if anyone was still even remotely sick....for my own sanity if nothing else. Likewise, I'd probably trust my friend to have the same kind of judgement, so if the party was still on, I'd assume people were better and the house was clean, and I'd go. But it definitely sounds like you don't want to, so, sure, stay home.
ETA: Posted before reading the rest of this.....um, OK! That definitely helped get my mind off of licking swings and sharting.....
My kid once ate fruit off the floor of a restaurant.
We hadn't ordered fruit.
He survived, and I'd go the the party if everyone has been healthy for a few days. We like to live life on the edge.
Ha. This reminds me of the time we were leaving the dance place after ballet. My son bent over and picked something up and put it in his mouth. I yelled, "wait..what is that"? He took it out and I saw it was Pirate Booty. I said, "Oh, OK…I thought it was a cotton ball". I was totally fine with him eating random PB off the floor. Shrug.
I guess it would depend how well I knew them and if they were clean people. People would know my house was cleaned top to bottom if something like that went through. I also wouldn't hold it against you if you were t comfortable coming.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

No way. Especially not with the baby.
