I almost woke DH up at 1am this morning because I wanted him to go to the store and get me Oreos. Not the yellow vanilla kind, but the regular or birthday kind. I want some so bad right now with a big ole tall glass of milk!
I don't know if this counts as a craving, but I am obsessed with eating vanilla greek yogurt mixed with blueberries, granola, and cinnamon for breakfast. .. I haven't gotten any wake up in the middle of the night cravings.. To be honest.. I feel kind of gipped. (Is that the correct spelling? I don't think I've even written that word before)
I want lava cake. With a chocolate milkshake on the side. I had been craving Kraft Mac and cheese for about a month and DH finally let me make some last night!
My cravings change daily. The other day I walked into the bedroom with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with Doritos shoved in it. Fiancé gave me a blank stare. I said, "Don't judge me, I'm pregnant". An hour later he walks in with a giant chocolate Easter bunny and says, "Don't judge me, you're pregnant".

BWAHAHAHAHA!! I just tell him, "not my fault the baby wants something weird!"
I haven't had any "omg I need to eat this right now" kind of cravings but certain things sound really good to me. Lately it's been sweets - I bought a box of Swiss Rolls the other day. Ice cream always sounds good and so does pizza. Or anything with cheese. But I don't think that's just pregnancy related - chesse is always good.
@YoginiKiki : Hell hath no fury like a hungry pregnant woman in a grocery store. Can you imagine what the cashier was thinking? I had the same experience a few weeks ago. Cashier looked at me and I said, "I'm pregnant". She laughs and says, "Well, at least you got some bananas too".
Specifically this morning... I am craving a cinnabon cinnamon roll and some pumpkin muffins from Panera. Last night was ice cream, I think I need to indulge in a few of these
@YoginiKiki : Gotta love the comments from women that are two pounds over organ failure!
My fiancé has decided he "likes when I'm pregnant because we have good snacks in the house". Yes honey, that's what I'm doing this for. I'll cook the kid for an elephant's gestation just so you can keep your Cheetos.
Mine like a PP said, is milk. Before I got pregnant I couldn't stand milk and it would kill my stomach. Now it's all I want. Plain or strawberry (made at home, not bought).
That's the only craving I have daily the rest tend to change.
You know that Milkshakes thread that's been bouncing around?
Well, I had a dream about a delicious Dippin' Dots banana split flavored milkshake. You know, how it tastes when all the Dots melt and you're left with the creamy goodness at the bottom of the cup.
I woke up and at 11 went to Cold Stone to see if I could mimic that and it was hella disappointing. I mean, it was good, but it just didn't live up to the dream.
And Tucson doesn't have a Dippin' Dots. Oh well. First world problems, I guess.
Mine vary all of the time & I'm very open to suggestions. When I read something on here I want it! I had a very intense craving for Thai food the other day, got it for lunch & now that has passed. It would be easier if it would be one consistent thing, but it's not. I have been trying to not give in to too many cravings though because usually I want a milkshake, ice cream, cake, cookies, etc & I know that won't be good for my overall weight gain!
The past few days I have been all about s'mores. I am totally not normally a sweet eater but it's all I can think about!
Oh man, this is totally me too.
Here's this. It doesn't really work right now for some reason but a cached copy is available. I loaded it yesterday on my phone though and the finished product looks like this:
I got home from work last night/this morning at 1AM and all I could think about were graham crackers and peanut butter. I didn't really need to eat that late ... but I really wanted the damn crackers, so I had them.
So I can't sleep, it's almost 1am and I'm thinking this was the wrong thread to stumble upon! Oh well, now that I' here I guess I'll play too ...
I have actually been super proud of myself (I know, I know) since my snacks/cravings this entire pregnancy have been pretty much fruit. Specifically strawberries. The past few weeks that's totally gone out the window. I've been eating total crap. (Mixed in with fruit and yogurt to make myself feel better.) I have a doctor's appointment in the morning and I'm a little nervous. I suppose it's too late to think about that now! On that note...
The entire pregnancy I've been obsessed with spicy V8 and ice cream. They just put in an Orange Leaf 5 minutes from my house. I feel like this is some sort of conspiracy!
Ahh Orange Leaf! I may or may not have driven out of my way one day after work last week for this sole purpose. I sat there in silence and enjoyed my yogurt, went home and ate dinner. I told no one
Oh, and banana yogurt is pretty much my favorite thing ever. Baby seems to agree!
You ask me this as I'm laying in bed with a bag of Smarties nestled against my body? (The Canadian, chocolate Smarties) I'd bought them yesterday, didn't eat any, and literally drive the 5 mins to work in my pj's to get them this morning. I don't work for 3 hours. I needed them now.
I have developed an unhealthy relationship with this popcorn that has both cheese and caramel in the same bag. I used to look at it in our vending machine and think WTF, why would you mix the two. Now I need to eat all the Jenny's Old Fashioned cheese and caramel. I'm pretty sure I should just buy the vending machine.
If you like cheese and caramel popcorn mixed, you MUST try this:
It's the BEST! Get the combo...oh my goodness, it's heaven. We live in Pennsylvania, and this place is in Chicago, but my sister loves it so much she made a huge order and gave them out as the favors at her WEDDING! That's how good it is!!!!! Yum..........now I want to order some!

Caramel and Cheese is called "Chicago mix" and I have to say Garrett's popcorn downtown Chicago is THE BEST hands down!!! I actually live closer to Geneva than downtown Chicago so i will be trying out Kernel's soon!! :-)

Chicago style popcorn is so good & so dangerous. I have been avoiding the aisle that has it in Costco because I'm pretty sure I would destroy that giant bag very quickly. I remember the first time H had it I looked at him cross-eyed because it sounded so weird...then I tried it...yum!
Garrett's is AMAZING. Even better if you can get it warm straight from the store.
Thats the ONLY way to get it!!! I live about an hour from the closest one but best believe whenever I am near I stop and get a bag .. or three!!! And now I DESPERATELY want some!!!
Re: Cravings!!
BWAHAHAHAHA!! I just tell him, "not my fault the baby wants something weird!"

WATER! I drink a ton of water but I have moments like when I wake up where all I want is water and anyone in my way better watch out.
Also, depending on the day or if I see a commercial I will want or need to have that food.
