Is it really THAT hard to respond to an RSVP?? My baby shower is this Saturday. Hostess sent out e-vites well over a month ago (which is how our group operates. Paper invites were sent out to older people). There are still about 10 people who have not responded. I feel horrible for my hostess because she's doing all the cooking, etc and MY people are not courteous enough to respond. They are friends and family, so I care if they are there, but I don't care about the gift or whatever. I just want my hostess to have final numbers to work with and their lack of courtesy (or waiting for a better option, which is just another form of rudeness) makes me feel super guilty!
I've had about 20 people not respond....It's so rude. How is the host supposed to to know how much food/ alcohol to prepare? rude rude rude rude RUDE!!!!

Yes, true. I failed to mention that both parents were present, and ignoring the children running around, screaming, and throwing their toys around. I do understand that sometimes, parents have to try to wrangle their kids by themselves, and it can be difficult. :)
Yeah it totally can be hard at times when I'm the size of a house & DS hasn't napped well. Like another poster said, the umbrella stroller & his favorite movie (Pollyanna of all things) on my Kindle helps a lot.

  • I know it's Tuesday but the last two nights right as DH and I are ready to get frisky DD will wake up and make me hold her and won't let me put her down. She's having crazy anxiety due to us moving but so annoying.
