  Glad all is well @abchittam‌ ! Our county tornado warning has been cancelled for tonight. So thankful & my heart hurts for those suffering tonight.

  I hate this crap! 6 have been confirmed dead (as of now) in my neighboring county, which is just one city over from us. This picture is of a tornado that touched down in my city, about 10 min from my house. I'm sure pictures of the damage will begin to surface tomorrow. I know the major highway has been shut down up the road from me because of tornado damage.
  
  Stay safe @Skeemer‌! Hopefully we'll both make it through tomorrow unharmed as well.

  I promise to keep myself and my husband safe...my icecream sandwiches on the other hand you might want to fear for their lives since I will be awake.   If I haven't blown off the face of the earth tonight, I will post in the morning and let you know I am still kicking.

  All is well as of right now. They're expecting storms to move in again around 3 pm - 4 pm CST. I've given strict instructions to DH to come straight home after work! I want my family where I can see them.

  @Skeemer‌ - I made DH come home early. He works up to an hour and a half away on some days and I didn't want him traveling in it at 4:00 like he usually would. Of course they have moved the timing back now. Original posts said that the bad weather would be here around 12, then 2, and then 4. Who knows at this point! But better safe than sorry. I would have been worried sick to have him trapped somewhere else.

  I am so glad that everyone seems to have fared ok.

  Prayer request for my dear sweet uncle! He was leaving work in Pensacola, FL heading home to Lillian, AL and his jeep died in a flood of water- he can't get the doors or windows open!!! Oh please send your prayers/good vibes his way!

  Thank the Lord we had our tornado watch lifted last night about 8 pm. They originally had it going through 11 pm or so. We never elevated to a warning yesterday which is a huge blessing. I finally got to sleep!

  Yep the news was saying we were all in for 3 straight days of tornado action. But hey, I'm glad they got it wrong.   My uncle is okay! He managed to climb out the back window and swim to a neighbors. His house is flooded, but what matters is that hes okay! Thank you all for your prayers/good thoughts!
  So glad all of you & your families are okay!!! From the weather channel, it still looks very bad there so I'll keep you all in my thoughts & prayers! Stay safe!!!
