Anyone feel like they won't make it til June?

I'm due June 16 but my body is telling me I may not hold out until then. I delivered my first a month early and will be scheduling a csection for 39 weeks for our baby boy. I am having contractions and swelling and even a change in appetite. These are all things that happened right before I went into labor with my daughter. Maybe I am just being a wimp...

Nope. Only one more month of guilt free eating, pissing myself at least twice a day, and having no idea or caring about the condition of my hair down there??? Im gonna try to hold out till August.

If you check out the thread with birth announcements, you will see that not only will some of us not make it until June, a decent number of us have already given birth.

But lucky you - my body must be speaking another language - I don't know what the fuck it's doing most of the time.

I feel this is thread is just rude considering our number of births, our number of moms currently in the hospital and the number of trips to L&D.

I really feel that talking about "not making it to June" so nonchalantly is really... wrong. We have had June Mommas give birth, go into labor, and to just say that is just.... like @puttyeast‌ said, its rude.

If you had been here longer you would understand as a group we have become progressively more bitchy as the pregnancy advances, so if you can't handle the snark please gtfo. I'm not usually so forward but seriously, with the number of moms in this group wishing and hoping they can hold on to baby just a little longer it really was an inconsiderate post.

Damn @raa4msu‌, I was due in June too!! But ya know what, my body forgot to tell me that I'd be giving birth March 20th and have my baby 12 weeks early!! Stupid body, it clearly missed the memo to bake my baby until June!!!! GTFO with your whining and stupidity!

THIS. Ehrmagherd this. BWAHAHAHAHHAA. I tried to trim a few weeks ago and nearly cut part of my labia off, so I just gave up...my poor OB on D-day...but for now, I just laugh...

@raa4msu‌, nope. I know I won't make it to June. I don't have a choice. I wish I could. I would take 8 more weeks of waddling, swelling, weight gain and discomfort over being hospitalized any day, not to mention having to deliver my baby by 34 weeks, if I am lucky. AND then, I can't even take my precious baby home. I have to leave her here for 4-6 weeks in a NICU and visit her every day for hours... Just hours. Not every single minute. I don't get a choice.

I hope you don't go early. I really don't.

I know the thought of having your LO in the NICU is scary, but if it helps at all the time flies by and every day you'll be closer to getting your baby home!! It is hard to just visit Henry and not have him home but I can't believe it's almost been 6 weeks!!!

Oh girls give her a break. She must have missed out on how much I am enjoying my L&D suit. It's a vacation I'm on that's right. All inclusive vacation.

Grr. Really!!! Your bitching!!! If only I could mobile Giff!!! Oh wait that's because I'm stuck in the hospital and will keep my happy ass here and pray everyday that I stay pregnant along with my other L&D home mommy's on here. Everyday we get we pray and pray for.

The thoughts of not being able to see the precious face before the whisk her away to save her life!!!

But I guess if your body is saying you have had enough then I guess you can be done.

I would give anything to deliver in June!! I'm praying to make it one more day!!

I get your tired your feet hurt and your getting fat!! Yes it sucks. You will survive.

Some of us moms may literally not survive!! The conditions we have are and can be life threatening to us and our babies! Strokes, seizures, liver damage, kidney, heart.... The list goes on and on.

On a positive note. This was the best laugh I've had all day!! Lets play again soon. Some of us are really board trying everything to stay pregnant in the hospital with little entertainment.

@hubbs173, totally off topic, but I just realized I have something that you may relate to.

I had a friend deliver her baby at 27 weeks with heart issues as well and he is now home and kicking! (He was delivered in January and came home about a month ago). I pray the same for you and Henry... maybe get him home soon, too!

@raa4msu: Saw your post on the third trimester, so sorry you don't understand why other moms may be upset but for those of us who have already had premature babies and those of us fighting premature labor, it's not about making it to your due date. It's about staying pregnant another day, another week and heck if things go really well, another month. You obviously have no idea what it is like to have a doctor tell you that you may not make it to 28, 32 or 34 weeks and honestly I hope you never do because it is not something I would wish upon anyone else.

So do I think I will make it to my due date? I have never dared to dream that far ahead but actually making it to term this time would be like winning the pregnancy lottery for me. I wish you the best and hope you never actually have to go through any of this.
