Hugs to all mamas going back to work today of for those who have already resumed pre babes days (work and or school) I don't know how you all do it!!

I'm sitting at my ob's office for my iud. I'm also paranoid about being KU for the one time we've had sex since I was given the ok. We were fairly safe. But the way the dog has been acting towards me the last two days has me scared (she literally sleeps on me) gahhhhhhhhhhh fx I'm just paranoid

DH came home from work this morning and crawled into bed and asked me if I was excited to go to work today. I told him no I was nervous to go to work today and leave the babies. He told me he was very excited to stay home with the babies this week and have daddy time! You could hear the excitement in his voice!!! I thought it was super cute!

Just saw this!

J is nine weeks tomorrow. He will usually sleep from 8/9 to anywhere from 1-3, and lately (the last week or so) he's gone from waking back up around 5 to waking up around 7-8. He will usually stir around 5ish and fuss a little, but he won't open his eyes and he usually goes right back to sleep.

During the day we aren't really on a schedule, and I don't really see the point in enforcing one. He wakes up whenever, I'll change him and we will hang out until he gets fidgety and starts making hunger cues (most of the time only a few minutes after he wakes up). After he eats we will play until he gets cranky and makes sleeping cues like rubbing his eyes. I'll rock him and pat his back and then once his eyes are closed I put him down. He'll usually wake up and fidget for a little and then go back to sleep.

I dunno, maybe I'm naieve but I just feed him when he seems hungry and put him to sleep when he seems tired. I figure a schedule will work itself out in time.

Yeah, I still have a pg pic as my FB profile pic. I don't want to be that person who posts tons of baby stuff, and I want to organize them. I have some things from my good camera and from the photog on my laptop, and that's a bigger commitment than mobile. Someday. Not today.

Got my 6-week checkup today. Love my doc and his staff, it was great to see them. Especially since I spent so much time there during the last month. Cleared for everything - which really means nothing. I'm too tired/have no free time to start working out and hahahaha to the idea of sex. Good news is that my 3rd degree tear and episiotomy healed well. And I got a script for the mini pill, while I think about options. We were all condoms before, so I don't know if I want to take the pill, get an IUD or just TTA with charting.

Commence venting...

So LO has decided to start spitting up... after every feed. He went from never spitting up to always spitting up. So bizarre. Last night SUCKED. I probably shouldn't complain because it was really the first bad night but man... it was really bad. LO was fussy, never stopped grunting it seemed, and I couldn't fall asleep at all between both MOTN feedings. Also, LO has decided to fight back when breastfeeding all of a sudden. THEN the icing on the cake...went to the doctors for my wound checkup and the nurse re-packed the wound, She neglected to pack the previously infected tunnel which, once I got home, resulted in INTENSE pain.. I literally cannot move or it feels like the wound is on fire and being ripped open. OMG!! I'm waiting for the nurse to come to my house to re-do the packing... in the meantime I am trying to sooth my fussy baby, which is near impossible when I can't even move. He won't stop crying and neither can I...

I'm losing my mind...

I just googled something about pacifiers and the article I clicked on was a very informative piece on how to choose between the different types of pacifiers.

It took 3 minutes of reading to figure out it was pacifier selection for ADULTS. I managed to accidentally stumble upon some weird fetish forum for adults who like to dress and act like actual babies.

What's seen cannot be unseen. I may never use the internet again.

So DH is sick. He had a sore throat Saturday and since I was working 12 hours Saturday and Sunday he had my mom come down Saturday night/all day Sunday to help with LO so he wouldn't get him sick. Well this morning he has me look at his throat and it is all fuckered up. Red, hugely swollen, pus in all the books and crannies. So I told him to get in the shower immediately and go to urgent care. Rapid strep and mono tests were both negative but since we have the little the dr is giving him an antibiotic anyway to be safe, along with a steroid. He really didn't have a fever, he "almost" got to 100*F Sunday. I just hope J doesn't get it

Don't be jealous! I wish I could say it was peaceful sleep. This kid is so loud I'm up for about half the time he's sleeping checking on him. He starts thrashing and grunting usually about an hour/hour and a half before he actually wakes up.

Im watching Maury and he just said its happened twice on his show. About fraternal twins. He said a billion to one shot with fraternal twins. A guy can be the father to one and not the other??
is that bullshit!? I thought it was impossible to have twins and have different dads. I feel like an idiot asking this lol
but I want to ask you girls first before I googled that

H came home early from work. Feels like he's getting a cold. So he's going to go to bed and take a nap. Granted, I know he needs to stay away from me and M. And I'm sorry he feels bad. But damn, I wish I could have slept all night and then managed to take a nap this afternoon. But M doesn't feel like sleeping for more than 45-60 min during the day. So, yeah.

@lnvane00 It's theoretically possible if they are fraternal twins since they start off from two different eggs. It would have occurred in the same cycle though, so it would only happen if mom had multiple partners within a few days of each other.

Thank you! I totally fed her right after and she was fine. She's hanging out in her RnP right now like nothing happened. This whole time leading up to it I was like very non chalant and then today out of nowhere I was freaking out. But my amazing child has shown me once again just how rad she is and so I can relax.

Got Colton asleep for the long stretch sure wish I could go to bed this early... I still have my older 2 to tell to go to bed 800 times in the next hour!
