Re: Hospital Bag checklist

  • Alrighty, mommas. We have had a bunch of you meet your precious lovelies now. What did you use in your hospital bags?
  • Loading the player...
  • I'm in no rush to pack a bag my bag will be packed during my first signs of labor if I have to get there in a rush there will be plenty of people to brin me what I need. If/when I do pack one it will consist of a change of clothes for me toothbrush nursing tank pjs for baby to come home in (I'm not one to pick out a coming home outfit) a receiving blanket. Everything I can possible need the hospital provides and I don't like far from the hospital if I think of something I do need and don't have I can always call someone or hubby can go home and get it. I would pack as light as possible esp since you and your mother are not far from home. The last thing you want to do is lug around a big bag when your bringing baby home
  • My hospital said all you need for the baby is their going home outfit and the car seat. They'll provide everything else. Otherwise I'm just bringing my toiletries, nursing PJs, robe, slippers and something to wear home, plus phone, camera, laptop and chargers.

  • I was told only to bring a few necessities because it will be less hospital germs im bringing home. I only packed 2 nursing tanks, yoga pants and toiletries for me and then like 2 outfits for the baby.
  • I packed toiletries, a robe, 1 nursing bra and pads , a pair of clothes for my husband and I and baby's outfit
  • How long are you planning on staying in the hospital that you need 10 pairs of underwear?  @-)

  • It sucks packing ahead of time.. I can only pack a few things, I'm still using a lot of things that I need to bring.

This, I stayed 5 days, I wore the cool mesh ones the hospital provides until day 4 after my c section so I only used two of my own.
  • 4 baby shirts? 10 undies? the hospital will have a nasal aspirator, clippers, facecloth, pads, undies, facecloth, Vaseline, diapers, why do u need a baby comb and sponge at the hospital? they will have soap and washcloth for you... probably even baby mittens too. cut the list down like 70 percent lol then itl be good
