Those IF goggles sure come back fast

DH and I started talking about TTC again in January, met with our RE in March, did our testing this cycle, and will do our FET in May. Since we began discussing it, we've had 3 pregnancy announcements from people close to us and the pregnant people around me are multiplying like crazy. I felt like every woman I saw at Wegman's this morning was pregnant. I'm finding myself caught off guard by the jealousy and bitterness I am feeling. I didn't expect these feelings to be so strong this time around because I am so, so thankful for my boys.

Dx: MFI- 3% morph
IUIs: Gonal-F + Ovidrel + b2b IUI= BFNs
IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    Hugs. No doubt about it, IF changes us forever.

    We are in that horrible cycle right now and it feels so much worse this time around. We have actually talked about going to see a therapist.

    I could've written this post myself. DH and I plan on going back to the RE in a couple of months ourselves.......and hopefully do an FET a couple months later. In the meantime, AlL of DHS friends wives are pregnant and I've been feeling so bitter and jealous about it. I hate myself for feeling like this, especially since I already have my beautiful, adorable LO but I still can't stifle it. Plus, something very similar happened when we were TTC number 1 and had two friends have a baby a week apart.....that lead to the worst IF breakdown I ever had, crying all afternoon at work with my office door closed. And here we go again - like I can't catch a break :( sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your post :/

    I refer to IF as the gift that keeps on giving. I was concerned that TTC #2 would awaken the ugly green eyed monster and unfortunately I was right.

    I wish I didn't but two unsuccessful FETs while the whole world is pregnant causes me to feel the same jealousy, rage, resentment and bitterness towards the haves. Then I try to remember how it felt to be childless and that helps a little.
