Intro - may I join you?

Hi, ladies. I'm hoping you think this is an OK place for me to be?

My loss was one year ago as of tomorrow, and since then we've had three unsuccessful rounds of IUI. Given my AMA and low AMH, I'm not sure what's next for us, but it's pretty clear that we're not on the fast track to our rainbow. I've been active on the main board since June, and TTCAL will always be a place I love and care deeply about. But I'm reaching that point you all probably know too well -- I find myself holding back a little because seeing the steady stream of new members come and go makes me feel a little disconnected. So, I'm hoping to join and provide mutual support to you all.

I admit that I'm having a bit of a pity party for myself at the moment, and I know that my time thus far on TTCAL is still short compared to many others. So, now that I've provided the sucky loss details as part of an intro, I promise not to be an AW or an unreasonable downer going forward, if you'll have me.

(((Hugs))) I'm sorry you're joining us here, but it's nice to see a "familiar" face. I feel the same way about the board. It isn't as comforting as it used to be, for that very reason.

Welcome to this side. I totally know what you mean about the main board. It's really hard to be there and feel like everyone is moving on and you're left behind. ((((HUGS))))

Now that you mention it, it kind of reminds me of the gesture people use when they say someone or something is "about yay wide." But then I've put on weight since my loss so maybe that's my insecurity showing!

Welcome. I get where you are coming from. I find myself in waves of being on the board regularily to taking a step back for that very reason. ((Hugs))

I'm so sorry you're on this side, friend, but I absolutely welcome you with lots of hugs. I think all of us that have been on the board for a good while now absolutely know that feeling of pulling back from the main board. I'm really glad this board exists for that reason and, while I'm so sad you're here, I'm glad to see that you intro-ed.
