I posted on here for a bit at the beginning of pregnancy but then got scared (haha) and went back to my lurking ways. This is the perfect opportunity to come out and play
My names is Gwen and I'm from Wales in the UK, my husband is from Seattle WA.
My February baby is my first. Jacob was born on the 17th of February by emergency c section.
Two random facts about myself:
1) My girl crush is Mila Kunis.
2) I think Leonard from the Big Bang Theory's so Hot!
Favourite F14 moment:
I don't remember who told this story but I think it was in one of the random threads. Someone said they'd been on Skype with their grandma and she was naked!!!! She didn't realise they could see her too. I laughed randomly for days haha

My husband and I met in college in MN and after brief grad school forays out of state, we settled back in the homeland :-) We were supposed to have a February baby and I've been lurking since almost the beginning, so when we had an end of January baby I stuck around. We also have a 2 year old fur baby.
My favorite F14 moments are too many to list, but I definitely was excited for my 'altrasound' and am loving the MIL/IL posts.
Random facts about me? I don't think I am a very interesting person but the ones I always use in icebreakers are that I was an All-American collegiate athlete and my secret career aspiration is to be a chef. I settle for crockpot cooking at the moment though....because newborn.

Random Fact 1: I love antiquing! It has become kind of an obsession.
Random Fact 2: I started college at 17 years old. My husband and I started dating when I was 17 and have been together 6.5 years now. Married 2 years in June.

I had a less than 2 hour labor ( not bragging--I was all about an epidural but am glad now that I felt/ experienced DD's birth in a different way than DS's)

My name is Alyson. I'm 28 years old and I live in illinois. I was active during my early pregnancy but I got a job as a correctional officer and had to leave for a 6 week training, basically been lurking ever since.
I have four kids 7,5,2, and 8 weeks. Two boys and two girls. Landon Pierce Allen Martin was born February 26 by repeat csection weighing 8lbs 12oz.
Random facts: i have a crazy animal obsession. I would take in all the strays if my hubby would let me.
I'm also terrified of guns but hope to one day be a parole officer which requires me to carry a gun while on shift.

Random facts are so hard to think of..
Soccer is always the first to come to mind, I love the sport and have played since I was little. Second, would be that I've been told I have a slight Vera Bradley problem. I love their entire line. although I can't bring myself to spend so much money on the new boys clothes they came out with lol.
My favorite moments are the middle of the night posts, they crack me up! And I had nightmares from the one about ghosts and things.

How many children: Liliana is my first child. She was due Feb 28 but decided she didn't feel like being a Feb baby (even though i wanted her to be so bad) She was born March 7th. (can i still sit with you)
Two random facts about you:
1. As my sn would suggest I LOVE BEES!!!!! :bz :bz :bz I have two bee tattoos on my foot and my baby shower cake was a beehive with little bees which almost made me come out of lurking to show F14...but shy. I get so excited when people send each other bees. its the best thing ever.
2. I've been to 45 states. Dad is a history teacher and we took month long road trips every summer.
What was your favorite F14 moment? So many but memory of a goldfish these days so none are coming to me. The SFP thread really kept me going at the end though.
I love that all of your babies are about 2-3 weeks ahead of mine. It keeps me prepped for whats about to happen next. Thank you all for your knowledge and entertainment. I look forward to being a more active member

I had my first baby March 4. His name is Braxton and he was always supposed to be a March baby, I just found y'all more interesting!
I was a second grade teacher and I'll teach first grade next year if I go back..I really don't want to go back.
My favorite part about this board is 1. The babies 2. The support. And I've never done this before so hopefully the picture uploads. Its an Easter pic of Braxton and our German Shepherd, Eli.

I hate bugs. I am terrified of them, doesn't matter what kind of bug, I just freak and scream for my DH to come kill them.

Random fact #1: I'm a pediatric nurse at an asthma and allergy clinic.
Random fact #2: I'm a big fan of the muppets and it wasn't until their Toyota Highlander commercial that I started to like my highlander.
I don't really have a favorite feb 14 moment but I must say, I'm quite shocked to learn how many people loathe peeps, I just didn't believe these people existed

I live in Ontario, Canada.
I had my first child Feb 10/14. His name is Nathaniel and we love him to pieces :x
I can't say I have any super interesting facts but I will say two.
1. I have worked with children since I was young. I currently work with young preschoolers. They are such bright children and I have to admit, I miss them since starting mat leave. Don't get me wrong I love may leave haha.
2. I love animals. I grew up having a dad for a vet, so I have been surrounded by animals. I get super angry when I hear and/read about the mistreatment of animals. I know this sounds crazy but I somehow feel connected to them and hate seeing any animals treated poorly. If I see a spider or any insect in my house I attempt to capture it and let it outside haha.
Favourite moment would have to be when I first had Nathaniel and was up most of the night I would enjoy reading about other ladies who were up and what they were doing. I still laugh at the lady who was snacking and looked down at her LO noticing all the crumbs that had fallen onto her LO head
One more thing - big thanks to those who have consistently posted. It has been great reading various posts over the past few months. Hopefully, since I have officially come out of the closet, I will now take part in many discussions
