I'm celebrating that his life has been preserved! What a hugely important first hurdle to cross. The road will be long but you'll walk it together and you'll come through on the other end.
My continued thoughts and prayers for you and your whole family. I hope he can recover quickly and pray you have the strength to get through this with him!

@kseccomb17, prayed for you all night last night when I was up nursing LO. Thank you for the update- this all sounds so overhwhelming for you and I want you to know that you're not in it alone. I know we can't do much, but we're here for you.
Thank you everyone. I appreciate it so much. Today is just pain management, evaluations and physical therapy to get him used to crutches/look at mobility. Tomorrow is surgery for all the new hardware. I'll keep y'all updated. I worry about him going under anesthesia so many times but he's healthy.
@biggerinreallife- thank you so much. I actually cried while reading that. It was beautiful and much needed.
@kseccomb17 - this is the first time I was able to read your thread; I am so sorry to hear about your husband's injuries and for the worries you are experiencing. I am sending warm vibes, thoughts and hugs from Pennsylvania! Your family will be in my thoughts; I am so glad you can be with your DH right now.
Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry with all the stresses you're dealing with right now. I wish your DH a speedy recovery. Sending you all warm thoughts.
Thoughts are with you, DH, and kids. I'm glad he will recover. Check with local sites and different groups for Moms that have extra supply and can donate milk. It may help you and keep your stress levels down a tad.
Thinking of you and your family! One minute a time, lady, you will get through this. You are being stronger than you give yourself credit for, and your DH will be able to look back on this season and be so amazed at the woman who was by his side through it all. Prayers for a smooth surgery tomorrow!
Sending continued thoughts and prayers for healing, comfort and patience as you go through this together. You sound amazingly supportive and strong, which is exactly what he needs right now. My heart goes out to you!
I'm so sorry to hear this. I am praying hard for you, your husband, and your family. ::huge hugs::
