What is your favorite shake?

Before BFP, I would get a daily large diet coke from McDonalds...YUM!!! Needless to say I don't do that anymore, but still enjoy an occasional special treat. Today I REALLY wanted something more that a McDonalds shake. So I decided to try Portillos Cake Shake and let me just say....OMG!!!!!!! It was AMAZING!!!

Damn you all now I want a shake. @teachermommy2014 I have been scared to try Portillo's cake shake because I heard they are addicting. I may have to indulge! !

Yep, you have to emphasize the chocolate part though. They mess it up sometimes.

I'm so jealous that you live close enough to a Portillo's to get one! We live in Indiana & every time we are in Illinois we have to hit up a Portillo's. There is actually one right off the interstate in NW Indiana that we hit on our way into or out of Illinois when we go to the Chicago area.

We even ended up hitting up the Portillo's in Scottsdale while we were in AZ on vacation a few weeks ago.

LOVE their chocolate cake shakes!

I will go withe a mint cookies and cream from steak and shake. I would also take a salted Nutella crunch from Burgatory...but they haven't opened up the Burgatory that will be 5 minutes from my house yet. Burgatory is a local burger and shake place that has the best hard shakes ever, but they is going to have to wait a few months

the burgers are awesome too.

We just went to a fancy burger place for dinner and I got a latte shake with chocolate ice cream, it was fabulous. DH got a salted caramel shake and it was pretty good, too.

Burgatory has the best shakes. I'm partial to "Espresso Love" which is made with smashed up chocolate covered espresso beans and espresso flavored liquor. Unfortunately they are off limits right now.

The runner up is still Burgatory with the salted Nutella crunch. @Allison7 - are you waiting for the Burgatory in Murrysville? That one will be about 5 minutes from me, and we can't wait!

I love when Chickfila has their seasonal peppermint shake. I do like zaxbys banana pudding shakes when they have them. Everything around here is limited times.

Although I'm at sonic as we speak indulging in a corn dog and chili cheese tots. Might have to get a sonic blast or milkshake after.

@jendem8‌ Yes! I am waiting for Burgatory in Murrysville. The first part of that plaza went up so fast I thought I would be eating at Burgatory by now! All I will have to do to get there is go straight down Pleasant Valley Road since I am just up the hill in Penn Township/Harrison City area. I actually grew up in Murrysville. Now the build up is so long that whenever they open there are going to be 2+ hour waits for a table, grrrr!

I'm originally from Chicago.... NOTHING beats a Portillo's cake n shake! The best! (they add mayo in the cake that's why it's so moist). None of those down here in Texas, but I just made a peanut butter banana shake that was the bomb diggity.

YES. I was about to mention this place. Are you from South Carolina? I was at Ft Jackson for a few months for Drill Sergeant School back in Fall 2012 and fell in love with their shakes. Since I was there around Thanksgiving, they had a pumpkin pie shake that was INSANE. I've never had a shake that comes close to how amazing these are.

I still have NOT been to Portillos but am dying to try the cake shake as well as their chocolate cake. I've heard AMAZING things!

@teachermommy2014 this is all your fault! I was running errands today and passed a Portillo's. Of course I stopped and ordered a chocolate cake shake! Nothing else and I ordered the large one. Yup I looked like the fat kid and now I'm totally addicted!

I didnt either. I had to get a spoon to finish it! I looked like the fat kid b/c I ordered a cheese fry with it...needless to say it turned into my dinner...but what a fabulous dinner it was
