One of my best friends lives about 8 hours away. Back when I was pregnant she came to the city I live in for a concert, and we made plans to get together, but I didn't hear from her until she got home. She said that her phone died and she didn't have her charger, or know my number. I was sad to have missed her, but these things happen.
She planned to come visit LO and me, and asked 2 months ago about this weekend. I said of course. I found out last week she's also planning to run a 10K this weekend, and a bunch of her friends are in the city too. She planned to stay tonight with us, and the hotel Saturday night, before her run. I admit I was slightly hurt she was fitting us in, rather than making a special trip, but again, NBD.
I just got a text from her, saying she's been throwing up since she got off the plane! We've been good friends for 12 years and she's never let me down or lied to me before. I'm sure she isn't now either. But these types of things really trigger my anxiety and get me feeling paranoid and insecure. Please talk me down!
