3) Are you a dog or cat person? Both. I hate litter boxes though, so once my cat is gone, I don't think we'll get another. We will always have dogs though.
4) What did you want to be when you were growing up? I had phases. I wanted to be a vet. And then I wanted to be an architect. At some point, I decided I wanted to be a writer, which stayed consistent until university.
5) Finances and fertility aside, how many kids would you have if you could? 3-4. I think. But having 1 could make me change my mind about that.
6) If you could live anywhere, where would you choose? Ooh, east coast maybe, ie, Nova Scotia. So beautiful. I wouldn't want to live in any country other than Canada though.
7) What's your guilty pleasure baby name? (i.e. the name you'd never choose for your kid, but you like anyways) I love the name Sophia, but it's been way too popular in the last few years.

4) What did you want to be when you were growing up? Oh, lots of things. I wanted to be a writer from a young age, and ended up going to college for journalism and am now a writer/editor so I guess I had those instincts early.
5) Finances and fertility aside, how many kids would you have if you could? This question changes for me over time. Up until this year, I always said two. Now, I want more and more and more because I hate how small and isolated my family is and I want something different for my children. I want them to have a bond between them and have this built-in group of friends for life. I think I watch too much Parenthood, maybe. But in my head it sounds awesome!
6) If you could live anywhere, where would you choose? Somewhere where it is sunny and warm most of the year, walking (or at least biking) distance to a beach, and has lots of natural areas with trails and parks and mountains where I can go running and hiking all the time. Our tentative 5-to-10-year plan is to move to south FL, so all but the mountains are covered!
7) What's your guilty pleasure baby name? (i.e. the name you'd never choose for your kid, but you like anyways) Boy: Torin Girl: Willow. Truth be told, if DH weren't in the picture, I would totally name my kid either of these. But he did a hard pass on both when I brought them up to him, haha.

6) This is a tough one! I actually love where I live (Northern California). The only two drawbacks are the exorbitant cost of living and it is so far from everywhere else. If I were super rich I'd love to live here and keep flats in a few cities around the world, like NY, Paris, Delhi, and HK. I love travel, but I'm not a fan of hotels.
