Our friends are keeping the boys for the night and DH and I are going to dinner,so I will be having my first post-baby drink. I'm thinking beer. It sounds good. I'll probably have 1 and then be ready for bed.
Red bull and vodka because it's been a terrible week. My grandfather passed away. There was a Forrest fire blazing through my town yesterday and it was on my property... We were evacuated but are now safe. Everything stinks of smoke. So scary... So vodka it is.
I would almost like to head back to 1999, but I remember how sucky it is as a teen. 1) teen girls are the worst 2) teen boys are even worster 3) not old enough to buy booze.

The teen years were the worst. I can't think of anything from 1999 that I miss.
Pouring glass one of the aforementioned icky wine. ... it's 4pm and I made a dozen fresh cookies instead of dinner. .. going to suggest sushi dinner with warm saki... take that aunt flo

I would do so many dirty things to have my 17 y/o body back. I found all of my senior pics and about cried, noticing how tight and perky thing were then. Goddammit, Obama! ::drinks more::

I used to love Boone's Farm. I would get two bottles on a party night and impress everybody with my ability to drink both of them and still want more. Now I am a ridiculous lightweight.
No drinking yet. Dinner at the MIL's. I want to bring booze because MIL wants to drink but her boyfriend doesn't really drink so she doesn't drink much anymore.

I think more of college when you mention the boobs and food. Those years were a good time
I had a better body at 17, but I'm more comfortable in my body now. Thank dog for that
Truth. I hate I was remotely as insecure as I was. I will be the happiest parent alive if I can instill confidence in my girls to never feel the way I did at that age.

Re: Are we drinking yet?
Good luck! I never make it past a week.
(I'm new so I'm just going to point out that I'm kidding. Kind of.)
Have a big grocery list shopping tomorrow. Costco and Commissary here I come!

Boone's Farm was all we could afford. All of us chip in a few coins. Oh the days of underage drinking.
