Hey ladies! Sorry I didn't get the check in posted yesterday, we were out of town for my great uncle's funeral service.
How's everyone doing? Milestones? Challenges? Funny stories?
QOTW- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you want to live?
Re: ~*~*~*Toddler Check In*~*~*~
Milestones? She's finally over the stranger anxiety! YAY! She was so good this past weekend with all of my family. It made me feel so good to see her happy with everybody.
Challenges? I would say our biggest challenge right now is the fact that she's not talking yet. I know it's early, but what I mean is that everything she wants is grunt and point. Then she gets furious when I don't understand her. Poor girl
Funny stories? I think the funniest thing is how jealous she got this weekend when I was holding my 6 month old niece. I was sitting with her between my legs on the floor, and PJ came running to try to jump in my arms. I had to hold the baby with one hand and try to make sure PJ didn't mow her down with the other. I guess we're definitely not ready for a sibling.

We're doing ok. We seem to have caught the flu bug so that really sucks. DS puked three times at the sitter's today and then on the way home all over his carseat. It sucked.
No major milestones- waiting for some teeth to keep popping through. He seems to be at a standstill with those!
Challenges: sitting in his high chair for meals- seems to think he doesn't have to. I've tried just a booster seat but that doesn't make a difference. He wants to be standing on a real chair which I'm not a big fan of.
Funny stories: none that I can really think of. He is just such a goof all the time. He makes me smile!
QOTW: I really have no idea, I've never been anywhere cool so I don't have much to compare too. So for now, I'll say the country! Anywhere but in town! I am so sick of town living and we desperately are waiting for my in-laws to move out of their house on the farm so we can move in
I know some people think I'm crazy for wanting to move into their house, I'm so excited. They have gorgeous house and did some major redecorating (re-did the floors, cabinets, painted etc.) and they asked for my input because they know we'll be there one day!
We had a wonderful Easter! DD had 3 egg hunts & she got a pretty pink bike w/ streamers
Milestones: she's still learning & amazing me w everything she picks up. She's like a sponge!
Challenges: we're def in the "tough" 2's stage....testing the waters & having complete melt downs. We had to leave a store last week bc of a melt down! This is new territory for us bc she's been so easy as a newborn, infant, & 1 yr old...but I accept the challenge!
QOTW: I would choose somewhere in Europe. Either South of France or a pretty English town by the English Channel.
Happy Hump Day!
@mrsjessicamitchell - I'm praying for you!
My Ovulation Chart
We're having a rough time to be honest - either the dreaded 18 month sleep regression or some sort of cold / virus / something. Up and screaming for hours every.single.night. We're in the middle of moving and big project at work and I'm taking driving lessons to get my UK license and it's just all a bit of a nightmare at the moment. Keeping everything crossed she settles down soon.
Milestones: She's finally walking on her own! Not very steadily but after months of holding onto furniture and shuffling around, it's really exciting. And she has a few words now which is adorable!
Challenges: Sleeping. It's awful.
QODT: I would love to live somewhere in Italy for a while, the weather in Scotland is depressing and I could use some sun!
