Nicknames for your multiples

For the mommas who haven't decided on names for their babes yet (and even those who have), do you (did you) call your babies anything as a nickname until real names were decided? DH and I have called our boys Jake & Elwood (the blues brothers) and also Maverick & Goose :-) We have a short list of names we're considering but for now, it's fun coming up with silly nicknames too. Thought it might be fun to hear each others nicknames :-)

We didn't settle on names till 35wks so we just called them Alpha and Bravo instead of A and B when I was pregnant.

My dd called them Donut and Toilet paper. She was 4 when they were born.

They were the Little Ninjas to us until we decided on names; my mom was calling them Peanut and Gummi Bear.

We call ours "The Rockies" or "Rocky 1" and "Rocky 2". Our Theme Song this cycle was "Eye of the Tiger" so we ended up making lots of "Rocky" comments, and when we ended up with 3 embryos they became Rocky 1, 2, and 3. We talk about our plans for Rocky 3 all the time too.

It's also too early for us to differentiate which baby is which on an ultrasound without a tech telling us, and I have no idea where they're located in there, so the anonymity of the nicknames sort of just works for now.

My DH nick named them GT2 and GT3 after fancy Porches :x Hubby loves cars so I thought it was pretty cute.

My MIL started referring to them as Ava and Beeva (for baby a and baby b) but we usually just called them a and b until we decided on names.

My 4-year-old likes to give them different names. First they were dinosaurs (I can't even pronounce which ones!), now he tends to name them after characters from his favorite shows. Coco and Brewster, Kwazi and Shellington, Thomas and Percy.

We are just calling them A and B now. We have thrown a couple out, but nothing has stuck. My DS had the name muppet from the first hb u/s sound so it is weird for us to not have nn for them! I think once we know what team we are, we will settel on something.

My husband really likes 'Copy' and 'Paste' for the girls. We're not really calling them that except every once in a while in jokes. Mostly we just call them by the names we've picked out.

Our DS called them ' the little nuggets' while I was pregnant. Because the first U/S he saw he thought they looked like the shape of his nuggets from mcdonalds.

We call them Baby A and Baby B a lot (boring, I know). On my pinterest board, I call them MaryKate and Ashley P. since they are both girls. Ironically, their names also begin with A and M :-).

@oughtonk‌ DH and I call our boys ninjas as well :P DHs aunt wants us to use Phineas and Ferb but I'm over here like oh hell no.
Usually DH and I call them by their names, Connor and Kellan

At one of my earlier ultrasounds, probably around 14 weeks, baby A looked like a turtle, and baby B (who also happened to be a 'womb hog' throughout the entire pregnancy) was all stretched out. Thus, Turtle and Stretch were created.

@TheDairyQueenx3‌ Too funny we refer to them as our "little nuggets"! We also refer to them as baby A & baby B, once we find out their sex I think we will provide them with better nn!

Ours are Thing 1 and Thing 2 for now which MIL thought was just awful for about a second until we reminded her about The Cat in the Hat. Now she's trolling the online shops for a cute set of onesies.

DD is two and didn't want to be a big sister. Now that she knows there are two they are Anna and Ella (Elsa). She now loves them....hope she doesn't go back to hating them if they are boys!

We had names picked out but it depended on who would come out first. Whichever came out first would be named Elijah, the next would be Gabriel. I got tired of saying "Baby A" or "This one here", so we decided that Baby A was going to be Nemo and Baby B was going to be Squirt, from Finding Nemo. We stuck with that theme and on their bedroom walls they have a big picture of Nemo above Elijah's crib and a big picture of Squirt above Gabriel's.
