Diaper Bag - Cloth Diaper Question

I'm looking to get a new diaper bag - with M, I used a regular SkipHop Messenger which worked fine with CDs, but it didn't get me tons of room. Just curious what others used in the past - I will admit, this is partly spurred on by the PPB sale, and I've been ogling some JJBs as well...

@chickpea912‌ right now we have a LeSportsac which is really roomy and great for one in diapers and one who may just need a couple of toys/snacks/extras but no diapers. but since I'm about to have two in diapers I've been lusting over JJB BFF and the Be Prepared. I've heard both are huge and amazing... now to justify the price. it's a little scary to me

eta: I have noticed since starting CDs with DS they take up more room than sposies but I think if I were going to have just the one in CDs the lesportsac would still be roomy enough but with two in diapers there's no way.

I have the Skip Hop Duo (twin size) and I'm pretty pumped because it looks nice and big. It was designed with moms of multiple kids in mind. I'll have to let you know in a few months how it works out though :P

I'm also in lurve with the PPB boxy backpacks but realistically that ain't happening. Le sigh.

@stephross88 oops I misspoke, it's the Skip Hop Duo Double Bag lol. It looks like they do have a black/red one!

lol, I got used to it on the infertility board... IF, IUI, IVF, RE, ICSI, PGD, etc the list was so long!

@Rachel5130‌ JJB is for Ju-Ju-Be a brand of bag that is amazing but pricey. I've heard they are worth it but I can't really think about dropping $180 on a diaper bag that's going to have food spilled on it and poop diapers stored in it. but that's just me

@katekat8721‌ after seeing hers I am seriously considering getting one because it is so big. it's a really nice bag

I had a large tote type bag made when I had my first but I too am looking for a new bag.. I really have no suggestions though.. I wanted a backpack diaper bag though! Specifically the JJB be right back (have no idea if it's big enough for 2 in diapers, probably not lol)

With C I just used one of those reusable "Feed" shopping bags from Whole Foods. No real compartments, just throw and go, and it worked fine...but that was with disposables (though she was also bottle fed, and I'm hoping to nurse Charlie for longer than I did C). I'm going to wait until I have my wet bag and then try it out with that and a few diapers, just to see how it all fits. If I decide I need something with compartments, I'll probably just head to Target and look at both their diaper bags and big purses

. I try to go as easy and simple as possible.

I just got a new one from Vera Bradley and it has a lot of room. I found it on sale and was able to pick the pattern and color I wanted.

Argh - thanks for weighing in, everyone. I'm no closer to figuring out what the heck I'm going to do, but at least I have some ideas. Too many options - many of which, I just don't like!

I'm a light packer - even when I had two in cloth. I just use a messenger bag style bag that's not specifically a diaper bag - size depends on how long I'll be out. For most daily stuff, I just carry a diaper or two and leave extra stuff in the car. For a full day trip away from the car, I might carry a backpack size bag.

We were able to get the JJB Be Prepared off of Craigslist for $40. It's been used but still in really good shape. I was told this is the ultimate diaper bag for CD'ers.

We use this Skip Hop backpack and it was plenty roomy for the CDs. I had a small wet bag for dirties, and would bring a larger one if we were staying somewhere overnight or going for long periods of time that I would have separate. I never really had an issue with the size of diaper bags and CDs, I would go more with what style you like.
