Went in for my BPP today and they found low fluid. That coupled with my noticing her moving less the last day or so and...its induction day!
A little bummed I wont ever get the labor starting naturally experience (was induced with my son as well, different reasons), but I am glad she is doing well and am looking forward to meeting her.
I had no clue about the low fluid, never noticed any leaking...it does explain her movement change too
Update 1 (6pm) Pitocin has been in for like three hours. Little bitty contractions have begun. Was @ 2cm to start (Yup, still hate cervical checks...first one this pg).
2: 5am. At a six. Bloody show. Some back labor, but still no epi. Think transition is starting...got the shakes pretty good for a bit.
3. MOTN. She is here. Arrived around 6pm the 23rd via unplanned c/s. Will post a birth story when I can. Mom and baby are fine.

Thankfully I have experience with this 'go to appt and come home with baby' phenomena (DS was à similar situation but different catalyst for the induction. I had à lot of issues kissing my birth plan good bye with him. For this one I know what is coming and am much more relaxed)

I am only not freaking bc this is almost identical to my sons situation (sub in pre e for low fluid). Roughly same gestation. Went to appt, came home with baby. Was a 1.5 with him, a 2 with her. Pitocin for both.
With him I was a mess seeing the birth i had imagined slip away bit by bit. Only the PgAL saying of "all that matters is a healthy mom and a healthy baby" kept me together.
