  Boo! I would've ugly cried, too. And it makes it even worse that you know the host feels awful about it. I can commiserate, because none of the friends invited to my shower showed up. It was just family. It's definitely not the greatest feeling.

  Nope, no PBK glider here!  We have a rent-to-own recliner that rocks...still making payments.  I'm not THAT cray cray ;-)

  I just hosted a shower and nobody RSVP. The friend that I was hosting it called everyone to ask if they were coming. She wanted to do that I told her I would do that but it was easier for her tondo that. So I can see how people don't RSVP.
  
  Also I hosted a shower for my good friend 10 years ago and nobody showed up but her family and my mom (the shower was at my mom's house). I felt so bad! She hid her disappointment well, she told me that the people that came were the people that mattered.

  Oh no! That's terrible, I'm so sorry. I've had to help my host with the RSVP's. I don't understand why it is so hard to shoot someone an email or text that you either are or are not coming. F those people!

  Not cool. I'm so sorry and like PP have said, you deserved a good cry. People are such shitheads. I know from planning my own wedding that getting some people (even f*#$ing family) to RSVP is like pulling teeth. Again, not cool.
