Stressed to the max

I was supposed to meet with the employee health nurse so I can get cleared to go back to work. My doctor wrote me a note saying I can go back, but I have to have two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. The employee health nurse won't clear me because there's a hospital policy stating they don't give 15 minute breaks. So I went back to my OB office asking for another note, but without those restrictions. They are supposed to call me and let me know.

I was starting to put the crib together before my appointment with HR, when it discovered that it is missing hardware. I called the crib company and they said they are out of stock, but they were gonna check the warehouse to see if they had the hardware and call me back. After my appointment with HR, I just said screw it and I went to the hardware store to get the parts I needed. While I was there, they called back and said they had them, but they asked if I bought the crib online and I said yes, from walmart online. They said they needed the confirmation email before they could send me the stuff I needed. I told the guy that I probably don't have the email anymore because we usually delete it after we pick up the stuff that we ordered. So I just bought the stuff I needed. Cost me $22.

When I got home, my phone rang. It was our landlord saying he wants to sit down with my boyfriend and I to talk about the condition our apartment is in. He called me late Friday afternoon to tell me that they were gonna be showing the apartment the next day(he's trying to sell the building.) well the apartment was messy because we've been rearranging things to get ready for the baby. My dishes were done, I don't have trash everywhere. The only thing wrong is that there is furniture out of place in the second bedroom because we're rearranging, and our laundry wasn't done. I texted my boyfriend to have him call the landlord because I couldn't handle it on top of everything else that has happened today. My landlord has called me three other times since he left the first message. I didn't answer any of them. I'm letting my boyfriend deal with it because if I talk to him, I won't be nice.

I've been in bed for the past two hours because I can't deal with anything else today. I got up to pee and I figured I'd check my blood pressure while I was up and my heart rate is through the roof, even with laying down. I'm so stressed right now. It's probably good that I'm not going back to work tomorrow.

  • What is it with WalMart? It seems like there is ALWAYS something missing in their products.
Well, I hope everything works out... Take one thing at a time, you know?

  • Well I'm off restrictions now, seeing as how I got released (by my doctor) to go back to work.

    Thanks everybody.

  • I have no idea how to update this thing because I'm not on this site very often, so I'll just post a reply lol.

I had an OB appointment today and my bp was good at my appointment but it has been awful all week. I also had 2+ protein in my urine, so they did blood work again and I'll get the results tomorrow. I saw a nurse practitioner and she told me she's not allowed to make decisions, so she was gonna talk to the on-call doctor and let me know what was gonna happen next.

Then I had an ultrasound right after. The baby looks good, she's 4 pounds and 4 ounces, she's head down and her butt is right up under my ribs. The ultrasound tech said she'll be right back, she had to talk to the nurse practitioner. Usually when that happens in ultrasounds, it's never a good thing. So she came back in a few minutes later and said the NP was at lunch and she wasn't able to find her, but she told me my fluid is low. It's supposed to be 8 (whatever that means) and mine was 7.1. So she was gonna have the NP call me this afternoon. And she told me to go home and drink lots of water.

So the nurse practitioner called me and told me the on-call doctor wants me on complete bed rest until further notice and I have to come in for weekly ultrasounds. If they can't get my bp down, they might end up taking the baby at 35 weeks, which is about three and a half weeks from now. Holy crap.
