Re: Could it be?!

  • Telling you what you want to hear: yes! Yay! You're in labor!

The truth: you might be starting labor. You might just be having uncomfortable, but common 3rd tri symptoms. I had those same things and didn't go into labor.

  • thanks lol!

When did you actually go into labor? i'm dreading going over 40wks.
  • I had pressure for a month before I actually went into labor. When contractions become the most horrific menstral cramp feeling you might be in labor.
  • ugh i know, i'm just looking for someone to tell me baby boy is almost here. this waiting part is just torture and i don't like not having total control over everything lol
  • I didn't go into labor. I had a c-section. :(. Boo

you do realize you're about to be at the mercy of an infant, right??

ain't no party like a newborn party cause a newborn party don't stop!

Yeah. Any little bit of control I had left flew out the operating room window. Actually, I lost it when I had DD1. I have not been in control for 3.5 years.

  • @mamafantastic yes, i do realize that thanks. no need to be rude, i'm obviously referring to labor and not knowing when it'll happen. some of us enjoy getting excited over the little things
  • eh, i guess we aren't all happy people like myself.
  • I absolutely love the drive bys asking if they are in labor....I totally need some entrainment tonight.
  • I ate an entire bag of m&ms and kinda want to puke...

    Or maybe it's labor?
  • maybe you can take up a hobby emily
  • snark from the new girl!!  a bold move, compadre....
  • I hope you all are west coast so I have some pregsomnia reading tonight!

  • "new girl" is cute. i like reading threads over jumping in on conversations i dont have time to follow up on.

    QFP (original post)

  • do you mind only commenting on my post if you have something intelligent or helpful to contribute? it's weird you're spending so much time on this trying to be an internet troll.
  • wasn't looking for any psychics to jump in. if i really thought i was in labor i'd call my doctor, not jump on my computer. just looking for encouragement... like i mention in my original post as i state "tell me what i want to hear"...or the very least someone who is feeling the same way. you can read everyones birth stories and labor pains but none are identical so it's always worth asking around.
  • yup and i read about them too. your point?
  • Lack of sleep makes me pretty crabby. I was being funny. You don't get support unless you give it. I don't recognize your s/n name at all. Which means you probably haven't been very supportive, or even here the last 40+ weeks.

  • OMG you guys are just amazing and @biggerinreallife I love you so much!!!

OP most of us have had symptoms like this for WEEKS. There are several of us who have gone overdue and are getting more annoyed each day. Heck some of us end up sitting in a hospital bed for days because of concerns about baby with absolutely no symptoms of labour at all.

So yeah, you coming here, out of the blue commenting about your pelvic pressure and back pain really pisses some of us off. I hope for your sake you are in labour and don't have to deal with the above.

Now I'm going to text my husband, who is not allowed to stay with me overnight, and get comfortable in my hospital bed while I prepare for the fact that my body has not gone into labour on its own and the Dr's have decided to start my induction in 22 hrs.

I am sorry I don't have more sympathy, or a better answer for you.

enjoy your babies. i hope they aren't as miserable as you people.
