So I decided to bust out my k'tan today, as I have family coming up for Easter and needed to get stuff done around the house. It is definitely not how I thought it would be. It is so awkward having this big bulge on your front (I know you would think I would be used to it after 9 months). I tried to do dishes, and being only 4'11" I could barely reach the sink without squishing her up against it. I had to turn sideways. Other tasks are just as difficult. I can't bend over to get stuff off the floor without holding on to her. I bought a Large, which is just slightly too big, I think I need a Medium, but lost my recipt. However I don't think that would solve most of my problems. Does this get easier with time? Anyone have any tricks? Anyone else find these carriers just as annoying?? Everyone raves about them, so I couldn't wait to try it out, but I am pretty disappointed so far.
