In a vain attempt to get things back to normal here, I present this week's FFFC:

Mine is that I ordered Chinese food last night as DH was out. They put 2 sets of chopsticks and 2 fortune cookies in the bag, but it was all for me. Further to that, DH wants to order us take out tonight and I'm totally not going to stop him.

I'm with you on moving on...

For Easter weekend, DH gets today off while I get both today and Monday. I was planning to tell him to just relax today and I'd do my best to take care of what needs to be done since we're spending the next two days running around to family things. He won't get much of a break that way. I ended up getting sucked into all the TB action this morning and didn't say anything to him. Then I heard him cleaning the kitchen upstairs and felt really bad because the kitchen was a disaster area from the last few days. But I still didn't say anything and now the kitchen is clean, so I won't have to deal with it.

I know, right? With DS1 I was up at least 2 times a night in the beginning and at least 5 times a night by the end.

More power to you! I can count on one hand how many times that's happened to me since September! I managed it on Sunday night and when I got up on Monday morning, it hurt to pee.

I only hate you a little. You and your magic bladder. My FFFC is that we are taking DD to her granny's house, so we won't have to worry about who is going to pick getup if I suddenly drop into labor. (38 weeks today) Also, I'm kind of hoping to go into labor this weekend, so my old OB can deliver her.

My confession: I am not getting a damn thing done at work today. I am checked out and ready for the weekend of washing clothes for baby's arrival and finishing thank you notes. Heck I may start the thank you notes here at my desk. And I am tot's jealous of @mirdamae03.

I'm starting to really pissed with my husband and dog at night. I've been moving to the couch. My husband gets wayyyy too close for comfort and has been literally elbowing and/or punching me in the face in his sleep. Ever since we moved to our new place he has been like this. And my dog has become very entitled to our bed and walks all over me in the middle of the night to find a more comfortable spot. If he isn't at the foot of the bed I can't sleep because then I have no fucking room!! He wakes me up multiple times to move the covers off me so he can get under. So basically the moral of this bitch vent is: I hate to be the bad guy, but pups will have to sleep in a crate if this goes on after the baby is born. I can't have a baby AND a dog waking me up all night.

My confession is that I HATE '10 items or less' lines in grocery stores.

And I mainly hate it because I'm totally that person who cuts the evil eyes when you have more than the allotted items- there is absolutely NO point in having a speedy checkout lane if there is zero enforcement in the policy.

Right? And then the people who have like 10 cans of something, on top of a bunch of other items. Just because you have multiple of the same item doesn't mean you can count it all as one!

I do that allllllll the time. If I watch something on the DVR and just let it run until the recording stops instead of stopping it myself at the end, then you can't tell that it's already been watched. I might've done that with like 5 of the final 6 Breaking Bad episodes. Get a better work schedule, buddy.

I witnessed a nasty confrontation between an elderly lady and a young woman over the item count in 16 or less line once. The store manager was called ... it was kind of bonkers.

PS: the elderly lady was in the right, she called out some girl who was friends with the employee at the cash register and had like a whole cart of groceries but didn't want to wait in a long line.

You've got me beat on that one! It takes an ungodly amount of contortion and muscle squeezing to hold in a sniss for me. Most of the time I fail.

This. And I don't know if you guys have them, but I hate when people take a full cart to the "self-checkout" area. You know the machines where you scan your own stuff? They're for baskets and people in a hurry. Not someone who has 3 carts, 100 coupons and just doesn't want to interact with a human.

YES! And I hateeeeeee that!
It is impossible to make a 'quick' trip to WalMart anymore because there is zero enforcement in the policy and people are terrified of confrontation.

Which brings me to another confession- I absolutely HATE Walmart but I refuse to stop shopping there because the prices are so much lower than any of the local grocery stores.

I once tried taking a cart to the self checkout. It was a nightmare because of the produce. It wouldn't ring right on the scale and a cashier had to come over like 5 times to approve it. Never again!

My FFFC: I'm considering cheating in the carpool lane as soon as the car seat is installed. Last year I spent 10 months using it before getting caught (sans car seat) and it was glorious.

My confession: when I get up to pee in the morning, I usually fart as well. However today I sharted and I laughed at myself. I was sitting on the toilet when this happened so no mess in the underwear which is good. And good thing my husband was upstairs so he didn't hear me laughing.

I am one of those people that takes more than 10 items into the self-checkout lane. I rock that shit. I'm faster checking out with 18 items than most people are with 5. I don't really feel that bad about it either.

I used to work as a cashier and we weren't allowed to turn away people with more than 10 items in those lanes. I usually just had to let the customers argue it out, because there was nothing I could say without getting in trouble!

I could be helping my hubby clean, but I just don't feel like it and he's not complaining about it. I was going to get up and clean the windows at least, but he got to them before me. Guess I'll just stay on the couch and watch all the episodes of Bar Rescue we have on DVR.

My FFFC - I've already scheduled a hair appt that's 90 miles away from home, and the appt will take a couple hours, and then DH and I will go have a nice dinner. Our little girl will be between a couple weeks old and a month - I'm leaving her at home with my mom.

I was a cashier too and we were allowed to turn people away that had a whole cart full, unless we were dead and no one got in line behind them.

I'm not a kid person or one of those extremely motherly types. I love my own and tolerate my loved ones' kids for the most part, but I'd rather not be around other people's children. I have no desire or instinct to take care of other people's kids either. I've never liked babysitting, I don't hold or coo over other people's babies, and I'm not the mom who runs over to mediate playground fights or pick up someone else's child after a tumble. I'm not mean or negligent and I will help if I'm needed, but I don't go out of my way to be motherly to anybody else's kids but mine.

My FFFC is I don't like spending time with my nieces and nephews unless there parents are with them. My Brothers kids do not listen to anyone but him and are exhausting. I Just put them all down for a nap and now I'm lying in my bed hopping they sleep for a good hour or two this afternoon. I am a FTM and spending the whole day with all three of them makes me want to just have one and be done. My niece and nephews are wonderful individually but together I am afraid my day will end up in the ER. Very common for these guys. They can be playing nicely and then all of a sudden toy to the head resulting in stitches. You stay at home moms with 2+ kids you deserve an award!

I was a grocery store cashier and I believe the express lane is false advertising. Often the time to complete transactions more compensates for the time it takes to scan a larger cart of items. 9 times out of 10 you are better off getting in line behind someone with one big cart of stuff than several people with 10 items or less. This has been my experience and I shop at a ridiculously busy grocery store (it's seriously awful). Also, Younger cashiers usually have a tendency to scan more quickly IMO.

2. I had blood work done on Wed. My BP was borderline 130/90 and trace of Protein. The dr was only calling if the BW came back bad. I never got a call. I was secretly hoping for one. I don't know how I am going to last 15 more school days

I've only had to get up MOTN a couple times. But come morning, there better be nothing in my way between me and the bathroom or I won't make it. I make sure the lid is always up so I don't lose precious seconds flipping that up when I need to be removing my bottoms.

During the day, I'm peeing every 1-2 hours.
