I think those pouches of baby food are grosss. I have first hand seen live maggots come out of a new pouch.
Also about not getting why women feel like 'failures' I guess it cause I feel grateful to have even had the chance to carry a baby. I have many women close to me who were not able to and so adopted or went with a surrogate, some with an egg or spern donor. If those who had cs or can't bf are considering themselves failures it makes me sad to consider what those who couldn't carry or had to get donor egg/sperm think of themselves. In my opinion those who have struggled through these things are huge success stories not failures. Hope I didnt offend anyone or trivialize your feelings.
Finally I have showered everyday since mia was born. It's not easy but I can't stand the smell of myself when I don't shower. It has nothing to do with me being a grown ass woman. I shower when mia sleeps and I know I'm lucky she does.
I'm from the Midwest and I LOVE NYC!! I have always said when I win the lottery I will have a place there. Ha...a girl can dream but yeah, don't understand what is not to love about NYC!!
