My ER was yesterday and they got 26 eggs! I had my first freak out since starting my ivf cycle and cried before going into ER room. I got extremely nauseous from the anesthesia and it took me a while to get out of recovery. I was dreading the 90 mile car ride home, but I made it without barfing all over my car. The medicine has all wore off and I am very sore. I am treating myself today to a iced coffee. I stopped caffeine during stims, so I have missed it! Fert report will be called in to me later today!

QOTD: We just do Easter dinner. My mil always makes me deviled eggs which I love!

Okay I have a question that may be too much TMI....I've been on continuous BCPs since early February b/c I had a plum size enfometrioma that we were trying to get rid of, so I haven't had a period since then. I'm having what I guess is breakthrough bleeding (old blood color). Should I call & tell my RE that or just wait two weeks b/c it won't make a difference anyway?

I am actually looking forward to NOT having to participate in a family tradition this Easter. Since I'll be at the beach with my BF I won't have to follow around behind one of my 7 nieces and nephews as the Easter egg hunt which usually breaks my heart.

On another noteA d stupid question-how do you "link" someone's user name if you want to mention them in your post personally? If there is a Q&A I can read just let me know! I didn't see it in the intro blog.

@Hernsy I had breakthrough bleeding while on BCP for IVF #1, it's completely normal. If you want to tag someone just put an "@" in front of their username. Tagging only works with usernames without spaces or special characters.

Not much to update here. I am just waiting on CD 1 so I can start meds, which should be Saturday or maybe Sunday.

QOTD: We just do dinner at my Parents' house on Easter. My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas Eve. We have dinner and finger foods at my parents and I exchange gifts with my siblings (and my nephews). We spend the rest of the evening playing board games. It's even more fun now that my oldest nephew is old enough to play most of the games, he really gets into the competition (we play teams boys vs. girls) and sometimes things get heated. It's so much fun.

QOTD - For every holiday my husband and I like to take it easy and drink mimosas! On Christmas we do not do anything with anyone else unless they come to our house. We watch Christmas Story or other movies, eat, and drink mimosas all day! It is the perfect way to celebrate!

@Twinkie0612 - CD1 should be here for me on Sautrday or Sunday as well! We're doing fresh though, so you'll still be ahead of me

Not much going on here. Just waiting to call in CD1 to schedule my CD20 baseline before starting Estrace. Pretty boring three weeks ahead of me actually! I did fill my Estrace Rx yesterday though, so I felt like I was doing something? Oh, I started a vlog too! A couple of friends encouraged me to, so I'm giving it a go.

QOTW: DH and I are different religions, but both Christian, so Easter means different things for us. His family has this annoying habit of coming over on the Saturday and insisting that I cook some huge elaborate meal when I'm fasting. We're going on a little getaway on Sunday and Monday this year though, so I'm looking forward to that!

QOTD - We had family Easter traditions growing up, which usually involved large family gatherings, dinners, and egg hunts. Now that everyone is grown up and spread all over the country, we don't get together much anymore. My husband and I will probably cook a nice meal for ourselves and eat obscene amounts of chocolate.

Hey Blossoms!!!

FET #4 I just took my first BCP and I'll be chugging them for the next 17 days. I have to schedule my endometrial biopsy, HSG, and saline sono but cant get them done until after AF ends. I think the worst of AF is over, at least I hope so, because she brought me to my knees yesterday. I went home and had my fill of junk, wine, and chocolate and feel much better today. Someone told me to take Naproxen with Vicodin, SWEET JESUS thats a nice combo. I need to go back to my post from yesterday and give my thanks. Since I'm off on Friday I'm road tripping this weekend to see 3 of my close girl friends and (4 godchildren) for Easter, so there is some sunshine in the horizon.

QOTD: I usually get my G-children together and have Easter activity day. Basically and Easter egg hunt, with painting/arts and crafts, and games. Then on Sunday, my family has dinner at my moms house.

@Cls78 Good numbers at ER and awesome fert report. Boy you got an early call. Hope you are feeling better. the freak outs come when we least expect them.

@Hernsy Breakthrough on BCP is completely normal. And we are pretty used to the TMI around these parts. lol

@Twinkie0612 I've got my "stalking eye" set on you this cycle. Im hoping that after your long journey, this is it. Keeping you in my Ts&Ps

@jaztaz1 - Yup, we're doing estrogen priming protocol, so I just have to take 7-10 days of Estrace before starting stims. I hear about all the meds that other women take before starting and it dwarfs my tiny bottle of miniscule blue-green pills! Not complaining at all, just seems weird.

Congrats on the great report @cls78‌!

Today is day 2 of stimming for me! We're doing the antagonist protocol so I'm just on 150 Menopur and 150 Gonal F for now. I go in for my first follie scan on Saturday!

QOTD: We always have a big lunch/dinner on Easter Sunday. It's been a few years since I've been home for Easter, so I definitely miss spending time with my family. Plus my mom's Easter meal is sooo good

@tptbabe I know what you mean. I dont take as many of the other meds either. All I do is BCP to prime whether its a fresh or frozen cycle.

Nothing new with me. Starting my meds for this round in one week. Oh, the joy of Lupron! ;-)

QOTD: Neither my husband and I are Christian, but our families still hold over some of the traditions like getting together and eating a fancy meal. We'll do that at my parents' house this year with just my uncle. We'll be the youngest people there, which will admittedly be very nice!

Congrats on the great report @cls78! I had a checkup this morning. Everything looks good. I'm reducing lupron tomorrow and adding estrace 2x per day. Lining check is scheduled for 4/30. As long as I'm at least 8-9 the transfer is a go. QOTD: we don't get to see my husbands family often so we always look forward to gathering for Christmas dinner.

@tptbabe I feel the same way about my FET. I went form a protocol that had me on dexamethasone, lupron, ganirelix, folic acid supplements, follistim, menopur, intralipid infusion, cipro, HCG Trigger, clindamycin suppositories, E2V Progesterone suppositories, and PIO to a protocol that is estrace, cipro, and PIO. I feel like I am not really doing enough.

As for me, I have no idea what is going on. Yesterday I had to go in and get checked for a UTI. Turns out, they think my bladder dropped from carrying my boys. So, I always have to pee because there is more pressure on it. I also had to go to my OB and am still awaiting results from a vaginal culture. He thinks I have BV. If so, it is possible I may have to cancel this May cycle and sign up for June. I'm finally ready and on board for a May cycle and now it looks like it may not even happen. I'm sitting by my phone waiting for him to call...

Hey all, I would like to join you lovely ladies,

We are doing our first IVF/ICSI. I start 150 Menopur and 150 Bravelle on Sunday and they gave me an estimated ER date of 5/3.

Easter Sunday will be our first inject day, but we have plans to go down to the beach and release balloons for NIAW, then go to my SIL and spend time with my nieces and nephew. My husband and I are like a big kids especially when it comes to easter egg hunts and the eggs with confetti. after all the eggs are collected we normally do a boys vs. girls confetti egg battle

OB just called. He said the culture was negative for bacteria and for yeast. He thinks it is just my body trying to "get back to normal." That being said, I let my RE nurse know and now we may be canceling the cycle anyway. We may have to give my body more time to heal. DAMNIT. I just want to cry. I finally feel ready for this and now I dont think it is going to happen.

Hmmm... Update on me... I have started BCPs to get ready for my FET. I've been on them for a few days now - long enough to start feeling icky due to hypothyroidism. I know there are a lot of other hypothyroid ladies on here, but are there any others that have had their thyroid completely removed? I know from my test results after last round of BCPs that this is not in my head, that the pill really reduces my absorption of my thyroid meds, but I'd be real interested to know if anyone else has to go through feeling like this everytime they go on the pill for a few weeks. I just wish my endo was willing to up my dose temporarily! But, alas, no.

It has been a bad week here, so I'm just generally bummed. My good friend who has been a huge support for me through this IF journey lost her husband unexpectedly on Tuesday. He was only 41 and she is around 35. They struggled with IF for over ten years before accepting living child free. Now he's gone, just like that. Life can be so unfair! I'm just heartbroken for her.

Sorry for the downer post. Just not been a good week. Here's hoping things will be looking up by the next check-in!

AFM I had a positive ovulation test Tuesday so my ultrasound was today to see how my lining looked on a natural cycle and it was 10mm! They want at least 7 - so that's one step closer to a non-medicated cycle... as much as i'd love to save money on meds i think that will feel really weird... as @tptbabe and @Twinkie0612 said being on soo many meds then getting dropped to nothing (or close to nothing) seems odd

I have blood work Wednesday to test progesterone levels - guess we'll see how that goes

COTD: We don't really have any Easter traditions - my Sister used to host the whole family for dinner but has stopped. My brother is hosting this year but we're thinking we might stay home... I want to go but i don't want to drive the 3 hours to get there - especially after living in a hotel all week for work. DH and I used to have a Christmas Day tradition - of just having one big date without leaving the house day... but then we moved closer to family and now they want to spend time with us haha... I love family time - but kinda miss out date days

ER was today and we got 25 eggs! Now we are praying for a good fert report and that as many possible make it to blast so we can get the pgd testing done. FET is tentatively planned for 5/20 still!

Hello ladies!

I am waiting for CD1. I still have to repeat some test but with my short cycles I should be stimming in early May. It will be my IVF #1!

Out of the 25 eggs, 24 were mature and 21 fertilized. We are super happy with that report and now wait for our next update on Monday to see how they are growing!
