Mother's Intuition?

In my heart I feel like there's no way LO will go until due date. I've been extremely uncomfortable at 33w5d, baby has dropped, etc. I'm a STM, and don't remember feeling this way with DS. I know I'm asking random people, but would you say this is mother's intuition or just being sick of being pregnant?

I know a STM who did go early with her first and felt fine. With her second she swore she was going to go weeks early and ended up going a couple of days past her due date. I know, super helpful, huh?

I was soooo totally SURE I'd go before my EDD with my son, but he ended up coming 10 days after. Shows what I know!

I'm convinced this one will come a couple of weeks early (somewhere between 38 and 39 weeks) but I think it's more wishful thinking. Otherwise it's a RCS for me but I want to try it on my own since I didn't get to with DS

I'm convinced I will be a week late, at least. Partially because EDD is based on LMP, but my temps showed ovulation around days 21-23, and partially because the thought of everything I need to get done before EDD stresses me the eff out.

I'd love for this kid to come at 38 weeks. But I have a feeling he will be late and I will likely have to be induced. My DH wants him to come late so he can get his business more organized before he tried to take a couple weeks off.

My DH usually get's what he wants.

I've been shitting my brains out this past week, and wishing LO was ready right now. My dad always had this saying though, "wish in one hand, shit in the other, and see which one fills up faster." Do you suppose I'm filling up both, or is it just "father's intuition"?

I'm a FTM and kept thinking I'll go way past my due date. But now looking into the whole gestational diabetes thing, I'm thinking I may go a week early. Me, my brother, my aunt, and 2 close friends all have the same b-day May 15th, so everyone is betting that I'll have him on that day. I'm due May 23. I guess only time will tell

I was sure I would go late with DS. I was induced 16 days early for pre e. He wasn't even born in the month he was due.

This kid I know will come on my EDD at the latest only bc it is doctors orders being high risk.

Until this week when my back started killing me. Interesting how now I'm thinking 39 weeks would be great!

I feel like I'm going to go a little early. My mom and sister have gone at least a week early with all of their kids, I'm 1cm at 36 weeks (which could mean either a lot or nothing at all, frankly), and baby boy is on his side, head down, and lowwww. My last day of work is a week from today at 37w1d, so I just need to make it past that date so he's full term and I'm done with work. We will see what he has in store, ultimately, he will come as early or late as he wants to!

My MIL keeps insisting I will deliver on Mother's Day which is 5 days early. Based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever. I hope I go till my due date just so she doesn't get to say how she knew when I would have the baby for the rest of my life.

My gut says I'll go a couple days early but I was also sure I was having a girl, and guess what???? So who knows? It could just be wishful thinking.

My MIL went on and on (and on and on) about how I would have DS on her birthday, which is the day before my EDD. And what do you know, that's exactly what happened.
I wasn't particularly happy about it.

Very irritating, especially since your MIL was right. My SIL won't shut up about how he'll come this weekend, since her daughter was an Easter baby. I don't especially want my little guy to come early, even if it is only 2 weeks, and I especially don't want her to be right.

With my first he was due 9/21 however the whole time I said I was going to have him on Labor Day and sure enough I was in labor on Labor Day! I think you should follow your gut. I think this time around she is going to be here on Mother's Day only because I don't see her lasting till 5/25

I'm sure mine is going to arrive late. My mom keeps reminding me that I was two weeks late. I'm a FTM and baby boy is already measuring 8 lbs 5 ounces. I'm not dilated at all. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous.

With my DD, I knew that when my doc adjusted the due date that I wouldn't be making it to that date (June 7) and I had her on May 18th, this time I was for sure that I wasn't gonna make it to May 26 and it looks like I just have to keep him in another week which puts me to the end of April. For some reason I always had thoughts of April 29.....no idea why.

Last time DH called it 3 months in advance and was accurate within 5 minutes of her birth time. He had a work-related event that he didn't want to go to ("if you could have the baby say 1/2 hour before it starts, that would be great") The event started at 7:00pm and she was born at 6:33pm.

I'm thinking I'll go early due to the kid being large. Who knows because I've put it out there he'll probably be late. Fun to guess but nobody really knows.

FTM, so what do I know....fwiw, I am convinced LO will be a week early but there is definitely some impatience/discomfort talking there too. I guess I'll find out in a few more weeks....
