I just voted all of the time. I feel like he is always bumping his head since becoming mobile. I told DH I was going to put a helmet on him. I have been so lucky that they are minor little bumps and nothing major.

I know these things happen, but I feel awful every single time.

Yes.. he bumps his head a lot when rolling (we're not crawling over here, thank goodness). Just this morning he went to roll and rolled right into the door frame, it was the first time he started crying after bumping his head. He was fine once I picked him up but I think it scared him.

I put just once, but really it's somewhere between just once and all of the time. The worst was once I pinched his fingers in the high chair tray while sliding it on. #MOTY

I like to "love it" when people respond to my polls, but I feel bad loving these stories about babies face planting. Please know I don't love that our babies get boo-boos.

I do take comfort in the fact that I'm not the only one frantically trying to keep my overly adventurous child from crashing all of the time.

I voted yes all the time but he's never hurt himself enough to leave a mark (cut, bruise, bump etc)
He's king of the face plant/dolphin dive while sitting up.
The worst one was when he fell straight back and cried and cried. I felt terrible because I had failed placing a pillow behind him.
His balance is much better now.

My kid is vicious with this wooden spoon that he insists on playing with in the highchair. He's hit himself a few times, but cries more when I take it away. JBBB, man

I was carrying LO on my shoulders and was walking into my parent's kitchen, forgetting in their walkway the ceiling drops... so his forehead smacked the wood. We both cried, I was pretty hysterical, he got over it faster than I did.

The very next day I was at work and get a call from my husband, he didn't strap LO into his swing and he fell out onto our tile floor. He cried but was fine a few minutes later.

Parent fails all the way.

ds faceplanted into a lego while trying to crawl the other day. that left a nasty circle-y cut right under his eye. i felt so horrible!

I was putting him on the changing table and bonked his head on the wooden lip part. He cried. Trying to get him into the nextfit and bonked his head. He didn't cry. It's almost always my fault.

LO decided to headbutt my chin at warp speed. Way faster than my reflexes.

Left him with a nice little shiner.
That was the WORST.

I was at the store with lo in the ergo while shopping for a baby swing. As I was bringing one down from the shelf, the front piece swung down and hit him on the top of his head. I felt so bad, I could have died right there in the aisle. He screamed for a long time and I stood there rocking him with a paci in his mouth until he calmed down.

He has had a few bumps from dropping his head quickly during tummy time and hitting toys or the floor, but I try to talk to him or get him to laugh and he will usually avoid the meltdown.

Faceplant on the counter while I had both hands on her. I have no idea how it happened. I have also caught the door jam with her melon. I felt really bad!

I voted ss because he's bumped his head a few times but I wouldn't say all the time. More like he's rolled over too fast a few times and his head thumped on the floor even tho he plays on top of 5 or 6 blankets... We need to get those foam blocks or a rug or somethin

I'm sorry for your babe! Georgia screamed for 15 minutes and DH couldn't consule her at all. She's acting normal now though, and her doctor wasn't worried

I voted all the time because it happens about once a week. I try to keep her safe but she can really roll around. So she is more apt to bumping into things.

He's more prone to leave booboo's from picking at his face but he rolls a lot and bumps his head on his crib rails and on the hardwood floor. No matter how much space I make for him with yoga mats and blankets he will always find the edges and bonk himself.

Just today he smacked himself in the head with the plastic ball that captain calamari has. I thought for sure he would wail because he's kind of a sucky baby with even the smallest bumps but he didn't react at all.

I have bonked his head once on the banister going upstairs and the same day on the doorframe to his bedroom.

My poor DD is the one with the broken arm. I will feel awful long past when she gets the cast of on the 25th..Now I'm super paranoid. She's a bubble baby now..lol
