New Born Pic Ideas

Alright ladies, those of you that have had your baby's and have had their newborn pics, do you mind sharing?? I need ideas and feel I am at a loss.... I need inspiration :)

Also how many days were the baby's when you took them??

    I haven't had mine yet but I have an idea from something I saw and elaborated on. Baby in a fur lined basket on the stoop with a special delivery tag attached. We have a huge modern glass pivot front door, so I thought it would be perfect to be standing at the door looking out (dogs too). Close ups would just show our feet, but some full shots too, focused on baby.

    I also thought I might do some of LO sleeping in one of DH's guitar cases.

    I haven't had mine yet but I'm getting induced Monday and scheduled them for Friday. I had some great ideas for a few Easter themed pics so I really wanted them done before Easter.

    We did ours at 8 days old, yesterday! The photographer came to our house. She did a "birds nest" style picture which looked great. She basically just took a wooden wreath that she got at hobby lobby and filled it with soft blankets. @demodoll those are fab fab fab!

    We did ours at 2 weeks. Ideally we would have done them sooner, but with all her doctor appointments it just wasn't feasible. These are some of my favorites.

    My photographer and I are having some create differences. They said I should do new born photos at 6-8 weeks old otherwise the baby will cry to much with all the manipulation, this seems so wrong for me! I convinced them to schedule me for 1 month old, they better be nice or I am going to be pissed! I would switch but my mom gave me a gift cirtificate to this place for Christmas

    @Jessimax 6-8 weeks would not be newborn photo shoot style anymore--I think the photographer is confused. 1 month will still be nice just that LO's eyes will be open more--newborn's awake look amazing in photos as well!

    @demodoll I can't believe those were done at the hospital! They look great, even the one in the hospital bed! All of these are so cute, I wasn't going to do professional photos but now I'm thinking I should. The rings on the little toes....ahhhhh!

    We have our newborn photo session on Wednesday (LO will be 12 days old but he was 3 weeks early) but we did get some in the hospital that we bought as well because they were adorable. We haven't gotten the rights yet so excuse the water mark!

    We have a unique circumstance. I'm a photographer, so I knew I could do them myself, but we wanted to be in some. First we had a birth photographer. She was there a few hours before birth to a few hours after, capturing Olivia's first moments. More documentary style. Then at two weeks we had my mentor photographer come do an in home lifestyle session, not posed really. And I have done a couple sessions with her so far. The other day (at 25 days old) we even got some cute sleeping and awake ones. She was 3 wks early so

    Window was a tiny but longer.

    @DemoDoll thanks so much for the ideas. And yes I am doing sibling pics for sure. I love the one of the newborn on the stool and the toddler kissing him!! So freakin cute! I have been on Pintrest and pulled some from there as well. Seems like there are so many ideas for newborn girls. I did find a few with the little boy in the baseball glove and one with the baby laying on the football. I am going to try those. :) I tried to do some naked ones and he was not having it. I will take another stab at it today and see if I can get some cute shots. :)

    Our friend came over and took these for us. They turned out great I think! She was 5 days old. It did take us awhile to get enough that she wasn't crying in since she was not all that thrilled to be modeling :)
