This is hilarious because I actually did watch Maury today and I know exactly what you are talking about. And just a little while ago I told my husband that I had to watch crap tv today and I felt my brain turning to mush watching Maury because baby finally fell asleep in my arms so I didnt wanna move to find the remote so I had to watch the whole hour of that terrible show. Lol but I don't get the humping the ground thing. That girl was wayyy over the top haha

Mia has been crazy fussy (for her, anyway) all day, too! On top of having pulled a muscle in my back from having to sit straight up to nurse her so my boobs don't suffocate her (they're seriously bigger than her head...) I am not a happy mama! I'm going to pump before bed tonight and make DH get up with her for her one and only (usually) MOTN feeding. I need one night of solid sleep, damn it!
Super fussy baby here too. He usually sleeps all day long. But not today. And he only pooped once today and it was just a couple hours ago. I was a super worried momma all day long. I think that had a lot to do with his fussiness. Poor baby. Im just glad he finally poo'd.

I've been trying to get LO to go to bed for over an hour. She's nursed for most of that time. Clean diaper, been rocked, sung to, white noise, etc. I can't even hold her. She just wants to cry and scream.
If my husband tells me to sleep when the babies sleep one more time, I might stab him. Fair warning.
how do you think the house stays clean, your laundry washed and put away and dinner complete by the time you get home every night? Granted he doesn't asked for these things to be done... I just do them, and he doesn't complain!
I need some time away from my older two.. It's not favoritism, but LO will sleep and I can vent about problems without having it repeated to people later.. Makes me feel like a bad mom though.

The one who proved to her dad that she was his? I didn't even get why she was doing that - I mean it's not like it was a bf who had denied her and she needed to be "sexy" for or anything. So weird.
I have no excuses for watching it, I purposely do cause it's so entertainingly pathetic!

I, too, was so confused why on earth she felt the need to hump the stage ... It was her own dad! She was an interesting one.
Glad I wasn't the only one who saw this today! I love my Maury!
And another

Has anyone been brave enough to take the baby out to a restaurant for dinner?
I miss going out to eat, but I feel like I ask my mother to babysit too much already (I don't really, but I feel guilty asking when it isn't a necessity). We've taken him out for lunch and he napped the whole time, but he usually is awake around dinner time (4-8ish) so I'm terrified that he will start screaming in the middle of dinner.
Thoughts? Tips? Should I just order a large adult beverage and hope for the best?
@legallyginger We took Piper out when she was a week old because I was dying for sushi. We fed her right before we left and she slept in her car seat the whole time. I EP though so I can give her a bottle if she gets hungry. Usually P is awake from 6-9 and fussy, but she still slept the whole time. I think because the car makes her pass out and then she just stayed that way. I would say just go for it and see what happens!

We went to Buca on Friday and survived. Harper cried when she was hungry, we have her a bottle, and she passed out and slept while we ate.
My only recommendation is that you don't go to a super busy restaurant. We asked the server for hot water to warm her bottle and she took 20-25 minutes. Also, order an adult beverage because you deserve it.
@legallyginger Yep, we've done breakfast, lunch & dinner. Had to rescue him from the car seat to feed him a couple of times. Only had 1 diaper to change. He slept most of the time.
Just made M an appt at 3:30. His baby acne seems to keep getting worse and is now running angrily across his shoulders and into his hairline on his neck. It's probably nothing, but we are going to go get it checked out.
I can't be the only one jealous of FBW's sweet, sleeping, pacifier-taking baby!
I just ugly cried and sang Lumineers to my growth spurting, gassy baby.. Please god just go to sleep and stay that way for more than 15mins!
You and I are one and the same today @CaseAndDave. I'm currently rocking LO in the glider playing Coldplays "Fix You" over and over, humming along. I think she's falling asleep. I'm scared to check.
Also, after last nights meltdown and waking DH up at 5:30, he took her until he had to leave for work at 8. I guess she fell asleep because I woke up at 8:45 with her sleeping in her bouncy seat on the floor next to the bed, and no memory of how she got there. DH hasn't even tried to check in on me or her this morning. He's probably mad I woke him up a whole 1.5 hours before his alarm. I want to scream at him. WTF do you want me to do next time? Cry in the dark in the other room while the baby cries next to me for hours so I don't disturb you? Don't tell me "get me if you need anything" and then get an attitude with me when I actually do, one time.
