Thawed milk

I had put Friday's pump in the freezer and pulled out 3 bags Sunday for Monday's bottles. DH made bottles this morning and pulled 3 more bags, ran them under cold water and poured them out still slushy. I caught his mistake and sent the milk pulled Sunday.

If the milk he thawed this morning smells ok, would you send for daycare tomorrow? I know it's 24 hours since thaw, which we'll be past tomorrow afternoon. I just hate to waste 3 bags of milk.

I considered giving tonight, but DH and I have been sick and I really want him to get any antibodies I'm making. Plus we wouldn't go through all 3 tonight.

Thanks @JandACoffee‌. I gave him one of the bottles this evening, so just 2 left. I think his dcp will be willing to sniff, and she's got some frozen there as backup she could use. Good to know I can put it back, although DH probably (hopefully) won't make that mistake again.

I have found that DS is very sensitive to thawed milk past it's prime. As in, he totally rejects it. Even when it smells ok. I would hate for you to have this happen at DC. Maybe use at home ASAP and pump fresh for DC?
