nipple pain

I have been having increasing nipple pain this past week. They feel chaffed and are so tender. I have been using APNO. I have had Thrush on and off. I think 3 times...finished diflucan a few weeks ago the pain seems different this time and isn't just with nursing. I resterilized everything today. I read an article on Kelly Mom that has me wondering if it isn't thrush. Any Ideas?

    I would personally get some breast shells and use coconut oil or Apno to see if they just need a rest. The shells make sure nothing is against them and give you some much needed air. Or you could go topless :). Is your LO getting lazy (pulling, unlatching, biting) and could that be what is making them sore?

    Both you and LO need treatment for thrush or you can just be passing it back and forth. Good luck!
