  I've read terrible terrible terrible stories about the nasty accidents that happen with babies on bike seats.  Even experienced cyclers can have their bikes fall over and having a LO strapped to the bike when that happens ... *shudders*

  
  

  I'm getting a bike trailer.  I've read good things about the Burley Bee Bike Trailer (it's $$$ though), but also have looked at the Instep double bike trailer (you know for future LO2 and for now all of the stuff I could carry).  Craigslist generally has a bunch of bike trailers to look through (depending on your area, obviously).

  We bought a bike trailer from amazon.  We have used it several times, LO seems to do great!  He is low and behind me, but he can see all around since the trailer has plastic "windows" that he can look through!  We live in the country though, so not much traffic or people walking.  It's pretty wide, so I wouldn't suggest it if you have tight spaces
