Just had to vent ... We all come across postings on these websites that make our eyes roll or we think are ridiculous at times but instead of posting mean comments... Why not back out of the posting and ignore?
A lot of us have moments of freaking out over something we did or didn't do so we post on here seeking comfort, guidance or just needing to vent and the last thing we need in those moments is someone making us feel like we're stupid for asking what we asked or feeling what we feel!

Sometimes when your freaking out about something stupid you have to be told that it's stupid to freak out. Why should I sugar coat my responses because the poster may not have the guts to hear oh..yeah that is kind of dumb to freak out about eating yogurt while pregnant...or something else equally stupid.

There are plenty of forums for fluff out there - ladies on TB are more than willing to give advice and be supportive for valid causes. However, silly things, such as OMG yogurt n milkshakes are generally going to get some...For Reals?? Many here have a knack for the snark, as PP have said it's the tone of the board. I personally find these forums very humorous/entertaining on a daily basis. I haven't come across anyone commenting out of attack or cruelty, just being blunt and honest. Best part is you have every right to ignore whatever you choose...it's a free internets!!!

Omg......really? Seriously? That was horribly disgusting.....what's worse is the OP of that post got the idea from OTHER posters on that site!!!! Please keep on keeping it real.....that was awful. And then when someone FINALLY said that you shouldn't bleed yourself on a urine test, they still tried to quantify the "result"....it was all, "um, you probably shouldn't use your blood on a pee test, but looks like a negative anyways"......WTF?

OP there are a few select lurkers on the 2nd tri board. Some of whom aren't even pregnant. They were here before I entered my 2nd tri and remained here now that I've moved on. I suggest that you just stick to your month board and just ignore this place if it bothers you. Sadly they aren't going anywhere, anytime soon. Supposedly it's the Internet and they can do what they want!

I don't get it. If you're here looking for "comfort and guidance", then why wouldn't you want people on here who have been there done that??? Cutrently pregnant or not? And if the answer isn't what you wanted to hear, then the question was probably not worth posting in the first place.

I really really struggled over whether or not to post... Lets face it.. This has been said before and will be said again in like a week because... Why should I do a little research and see that someone has already made this point? I just want to say.. OP. really? And, if it weren't for the non pregnant women who fish in most of the boards, we FTM's would be lost. How is it helpful for a 1's tri to get advice from another 1's tri FTM??? You'd both be freaking out because, hello...... No one is telling you to quit freaking out. The snark on this site is sometimes the only laugh I get all day. These ladies may tell it like it is, but if you'd do a little research you would know they're unbelievably loyal and will cry with you when you cry. Has anyone taken notice that most of the love tits on the original post and the white nights mostly have generic avatars? I didn't see a lot of signatures either.

I'm not lumping everyone without an original avatar or without a signature together, but it seems a bit odd that most of these people haven't taken the time to actually become part of the overly snarky, mean girl world that is The Bump. Yet....they want us to be nice to them.
