My MIL keeps Lyndin 2 days a week. When I'm getting out clothes for him to wear on those days, I always choose my least favorite outfits. I don't like wasting something cute when he's going to be stuck in the house with her all day.
I had to go into work yesterday to sign some paperwork. They have made a bunch of changes at the agency and switched people around so my desk is being occupied by someone on a new team. It is the "Francophone" team that has invaded our office. A.) There may be 5 french people in my entire town and they are bilingual, B.) We don't service them anyway because they probably don't beat their kids (most people don't so I am assuming here), and C.) This team will essentially carry no cases because they won't be carrying the "regular" english speaking cases because this is beneath them. So My FFFC is that I am bitter the french have invaded my office and now I will have to sit in the hallway carrying 40 plus cases while they Facebook all day.
That's BS. They should have to take some of the other cases too.
I have been trying to be good and count my calories so that I can lose some weight. However, DH has a stomach virus, and he is the cook in the family....sooooo I think I might be having some take out for tonight, calories be damned. I don't feel like cooking.
Also, going along with the stomach virus, I feel bad for DH because he feels so horrible. But I think I feel worse for me because I probably won't have any help with LO tonight. I'm a horrible, selfish wife!

That would be oppressive to their Frenchness. I feel like our agency is trying so hard to be "anti oppressive" that they end up opressing the "regular" people. I am all about having a First Nations and Jewish team as there are cultural and belief differences I don't really know, but we are not french, we just aren't! Clearly this is making me stabby and may be in need of a springs rant at some point.
My friend is going to do 9-month/Easter pictures for us. She was available this weekend and next. DH is off this weekend and works next weekend. MIL is visiting this weekend. We are doing the pictures next weekend in the morning before DH goes to work because I don't want MIL crashing our family photos. I didn't even tell DH that this weekend was an option.
To be honest, I really thought nursemommy was being sarcastic. I personally don't understand elective c-sections, but what you do with your body is none of my business, so no explanation is needed. However, I think it's ridiculous to assume that a c-section is the least painful option for everyone. I don't agree with encouraging someone who is struggling with the decision to go med-free to opt for major surgery instead. Guess this should've been my UO yesterday.

I'm pretty sure nowhere in her two sentence confession did she say a C-section was the least painful option for everyone. She said it worked for her. Nor did she encourage someone struggling with the decision to go med-free to go with another option like surgery. Actually, I was the one playing devils advocate and told her to get the juice. You don't agree with @nursemommy13 and that's fine. I personally was happier to roll the dice on my vag (for you @cl8badb) than ever have to think about surgery. But, don't act like she was pushing her way on anyone else.

I hear that. To be clear though, I did say "encouraging" and not "pushing", which is different. I must've misinterpreted you, @NurseMommy13, I guess what it comes down to is I don't agree with them, so I just won't get one. Obviously we have all been through this and know what to expect the next time around, but if nykkol was a FTM, I could definitely see her being persuaded by "I got a c/s and hardly had any pain!" That is of course a hypothetical scenario and irrelevant so I'll just say I don't get them and leave it at that, and I am genuinely glad that your experience was positive for you.
I want to tattle on my coworker he leaves for like 2 plus hours everyday comes in late and leaves early, but I won't.
I have this 65 year old creepy man coworker that always is going out with his girlfriend during lunch and they find weird places to have sex. Then he comes back and brags about it. [-X

Out of curiosity, why not? (I'm not sure what I would do in that situation so I'm not trying to start a debate or anything. Just wondering about your circumstances.)

On his list have been the graveyard, walmart parking lot, various parks and in the summer he will park his mini van at different schools, he has one classy girlfriend! Also he is 65!!! The graveyard is my particular fav, he seems to frequent these the most.
This isn't so much a FFFC as a comment, but speaking of C sections, I can't imagine personally opting to have one. I was in so much pain for weeks and am super jealous of people who have sections and feel better a few days later (like one of my family members.) I'm not saying anyone should or shouldn't have one, just that I can't understand it after my experience!!!

I'm loving all these posts because it's so disturbing that it's funny to me!

Relatively sure that, if caught, all of those would render him a sex offender. And if he is caught at a school or park he could be labeled a pedophile (not entirely sure on that one).
Eww, hadn't thought of that. Not so funny anymore!
@melohdy if you meet him, it would make sense. He even has the creepy large framed glasses. Why anyone would sleep with him... He also had a russian bride for a few years and things shockingly went bad

Have you seen her? Because we have a volunteer that keeps mentioning his girlfriend but when we asked to see her picture, he said that he recently got a new phone and didn't have any. :-?
Since he's been mentioned a few times today in a couple of different posts, I really thought Zachary Levi was gay. I know Zachary Quinto is and know what he looks like, but I guess I just get the last names mixed up when I'm reading about them.
No, I would be so sad! I guess that's another confession. I get sad when I find out a hot male celebrity (Matt Bomer) is gay. Because this married mother of 3 that lives nowhere near where you see celebrities would totally have a chance if he were straight
@nykkolaughs I was determined to do it med-free too and succeeded as well. N was a big baby (over 9 lbs), and I'm pretty small, so pushing was terrible. Her heart rate was dropping and I had to change pushing positions a few times - based on what my dr. said and my experience, I'm pretty sure I would have ended up with a c-section if I'd had an epi, since I wouldn't have been able to move to a squat position or get on my hands and knees when I needed to. However, I tore badly, and similar to you, it hurt like HELL afterwards, just trying to move around when I got home. I didn't feel normal and couldn't walk like normal for 8 weeks. There were so many times "maybe a c-section would have been easier than this...." However, looking back, I'm now really glad I made the choices I did - the reasons for me to go med-free were to experience the birth and all of the natural chemicals, and I definitely did - I felt pretty high as soon as she was born, like I was on a weird drug, but mostly to avoid a c-section, and I was able to do that. If it had been my last kid maybe I wouldn't care as much, but I know I want more kids and I don't want to deal with a vbac, nor do I want to be forced to have another c-section. I know you want to have a lot more kids, and it's tougher to do that if you've had a c-section(s), so I just want to encourage you to go for it again. I know that's not everyone's choice and that is perfectly fine, but all of that talk about reducing the chance of a c-section is legit in my experience. To each there own and if others want a c-section, good for them. But you can do it again if you want to!
That was meant to be a pep talk. Sorry if it wasn't very peppy Also, if you choose to get an epi this time, that is perfectly fine too! But I think I'm gonna go med-free again with my next baby.

eta: we've asked at different times.
I will have to ask around! We did see the Russian bride though, she would often come into the office looking for him, poor girl.
I feel like we've gone off into a weird world (in this thread) where the only 2 options for childbirth are no meds vaginal birth or c-section.....
I'm definitely not saying that. Every birth is different and I know there are some great birth experiences with an epi. I just know that one reason some women try to go med free is to reduce the chances and I think it does, like in my case. There are several other cases it wouldn't have mattered. To each their own; I just wanted to encourage nykkolaughs and anyone else considering going med free.
Ah! @numbersgirl08 daaaaamn girl!!! Both of you are no joke!
Haha thanks. She ended up with a broken collar bone (which apparently is common for a 9 lber) and I ended up with a 3rd degree tear! But we did it!
I'm really really really praying for next kiddo to not be 11 days late and to be a more average size! Hubby and I are both very much on the small size (if you add our weights together we are less than 250 ha) so I don't know where she came from!

I like the railroad tracks idea!
