June 14 hopes your babies are doing well! Since all you mamas are very busy oohing and aahing over your miracles, a few of the ladies on here thought it would be good to have a central place for you to check in and update if you want instead of having to make a thread or go find your original one**. No pressure; we'll do the check-in once a week and you can update as much or as little as you want. Bonus points for pics

And if I am missing anyone, please let me know so I can add them!

How is LO this week? He is doing well for the most part. He's had low sodium but that was going back up with supplements. Now he's got fluid in his lungs that he's being treated for. They took him off the CPAP and put him on the cannula. He was able to get off the cannula for a couple of days but was put back on the cannula yesterday because he was working pretty hard to breath.

What are his biggest challenges right now? The fluid in his lungs and his low sodium are the biggest bumps in the road so far.

What are his biggest accomplishments so far? He's passed his birth weight and is taking his feeds well.

How are YOU doing? I'm doing okay. I've been trying to deal with the guilt I'm feeling. I feel like it's all my fault that Colton is in the NICU even though I know realistically there was nothing I could have done to avoid our situation.. Seeing my baby struggle has been so hard and I end up feeling helpless.

big hugs @supgabs‌ it's not your fault. I know it must be hard to deal with but you have shown so much strength during your whole situation I have faith you and Colton will persevere and make it through this healthy and happy. I'm so glad to hear he hasn't had too many issues and I hope they can get his sodium levels stabilized and his lungs cleared out. lots of T&Ps for you guys!

@CDK211 The chemo sucks. Now that I'm not pregnant they've been giving me more/stronger drugs that make me sick. Luckily I still have my hair but I was told that I can expect that to fall out with in the next two weeks. I have a really cute wig picked out though so it's all g

@supgabs‌ - he is so cute! That is AWESOME that he's on the cannula! Seriously, that's a huge deal.

The guilt is intense and it can be so hard to deal with. One thing to remember is that NO ONE blames you at all. There are some things out of our control. Look at the other kids in the NICU with you - do you blame any of their parents? I'm guessing not, and the same goes for you. Big, huge hugs and continued prayers for little Colton and you!

He is such a beautiful baby! @supgabs None of this is in any way your fault. I know that must be difficult to internalize, but I hope having a community of internet strangers reinforce it helps. We are all here cheering for you and baby Colton!

He is so freaking adorable! @supgabs I am so sorry you are dealing with guilt. And even though I'm sure it's hard for you to see, none of it is your fault. In fact he is getting the best possible care right now because of you!Good luck with the chemo. I know that can really wear you down but hang in there chick! Your attitude about it all is truly inspiring!

I hated the Nicu mom guilt. But you have to realize this was the best decision for him and he's doing great! Hang in there mama!

Thank you all!! I'm so glad us preemie moms have such great support here!!!

How is LO this week? Henry is doing great!! He is currently 3 lbs 4.5 oz!! Eating and growing like a champ!! He started physical therapy this week and his physical therapist loves him!! She offered to be his prom date in 18 yrs!! Lol.

What are his/her biggest challenges right now? His sodium was a point lower than where they like it so he's getting a sodium supplement.

What are his/her biggest accomplishments so far? Everything he has gotten through has been an accomplishment!! He's my strong little man!!

How are YOU doing? I'm still recovering from my recent hospital stay. Losing blood is hard to bounce back from!! I'm exhausted, but feeling a bit better today!

@subgabs - so glad to hear that baby Colton is doing well...hope by the next update that he will be back off the Cannula for good, that the fluid in his lungs is gone, and that his sodium levels are where they should be. As always, praying for you both - that he will continue to grow stronger each day and that your treatment goes well, that your cancer will be remission/cured asap, and that you feel much better soon.

@hubbs173 - glad to hear that baby Henry is doing so well and it certainly sounds like his physical therapist will be a good fit for ya'll.

Hope that the supplement does the trick and his sodium levels are back up soon. Keeping him in my prayers, and also praying that you feel much better soon as you recover too!

@supgabs - every time you post I'm absolutely in awe of your strength, so please don't feel guilty, you are seriously amazing! You and Colton are always in my thoughts and I know you both will rock your recoveries!

@hubbs173 - I'm so glad to hear Henry is doing so great! But I'm sorry to say that his physical therapist may have some competition for being his prom date...he's such a cutie! T&P that he continues getting stronger every day and can come home soon!
