Pumping Issue- Help?

The office I work at is being renovated, so we are all crammed in upstairs while they do their thing for 6 weeks, then we will all be downstairs while they do the upstairs for another 6 weeks (so they say).  I work 3 days a week and usually pump just enough so that LO can get 1 bottle of BM while I'm gone each day, we have to supplement with formula.

So, now I have no where to pump!  Well, actually for only 2 of those days- when I work Saturdays I use my boss's office.  I REALLY don't want to pump in the bathroom.  It's a nasty co-ed bathroom and even professional men can't be neat apparently.  So, is my breastfeeding doomed?  Can I just skip pumping 2 days a week, or will my supply tank too much?  Any thoughts, solutions?  You all always have good ideas.

  • I haven't tried, but all of the parking spaces faces the office windows and I would feel like everyone was staring at me, KWIM?  Plus construction workers everywhere...

I sit in the backseat and pump when I'm on the go. Dh and my mom both confirmed that they can't see a thing. They have to get right up to the window just to see I'm sitting there. If you were very anxious, you could use a nursing cover.
Hmmm, maybe I can take our SUV with tinted windows instead.

I second car. Back seat, windows up, that's the way I like to pump... \:D/

    =))

  • In the car under a nursing cover.

I did it 2 weeks ago in a busy parking garage in Boston. I felt a bit weird at first but no one paid attention to me.
I second this. I've pumped in the middle of a busy airport terminal with a nursing cover on. No one seemed to notice so if you are in your car with one on I think you'd be safe.

  • Reserve that conference room. You have the right to pump and the bathroom sounds nasty. Good luck and let us know how it goes. :)
